Good Saturday Morning

Wow it is Saturday already!! I am sure most of you are very glad about that. Yesterday was my weekend so for me today and tomorrow are work. So if you have to work this weekend you aren't alone. We can still make the best of it. What about everyone else? What are your plans for this weekend? It is suppose to be beautiful here, cooler which is a good thing. Hope the weather is perfect for where ever you are and whatever you are doing.
I am not going to try the whole shout out thing, my brain isn't awake yet and I didn't take notes, lol.

I'm waffling on this day. I got up at 4 am and I'm doing two loads of much needed laundry. I usually wait two weeks to do my laundry so that I am forced to wear some of my clothes...I'd wear the same outfits over and over and with a closet full of clothes...and a dh who watches that stuff...I better wear it at least once or twice a year. LOL.

We could drive over to Ventura for the afternoon and do our shopping after church tomorrow...then go to a movie on Monday. I took an extra day off, for my "mental health" and because I got labs done - which was an ordeal...Also because it's been hell to sleep around here with temps that aren't falling below 80's at night...I'm BEAT!

But I sure do enjoy shopping (hence the full closet, LOL). Maybe we're doing that today and movie tomorrow and NOTHING Monday...Too many choices.

Morning Nikki and Cali!  Sorry you are working all weekend . . . me too!  But I'm off the next two weekends . . . ugh . . . I love to play, but that sure doesn't help with the bills lol . .. oh well . . . at least I have jobs!

Not much else new here .. . going to stop by to see Michelle again today . . . she was looking really great last night for just having had surgery . . . so good to see!

Good morning Cali,

Not sure what today brings, cleaning the house and laundry.  Maybe a trip to the park so Vanessa can burn off some energy.  Repack for next week and do some cooking.  I have to stock DH up for the week.  Then he can just nuke it!

Glad to be home for a couple of days.  Went for a nice walk yesterday all three of us.  Of course Vanessa had to stop at the yogurt shop she was "hunger", a little cookies and cream with Reese pieces fixed her up.

Nothing exciting for me today....well,not true..I'm not working! 

I will go to the gym this morning, then back home to do laundry that I have been ignoring for way too long.  My daughter leaves for camp on Monday so I will be getting her ready for that as well.

Oh, I am so glad it's Saturday!  We are getting ready to leave on vacation for tomorrow  for almost a week!  Yay! 

We'er going to pull the trailer around this today and start loading it up.  I got my stitches out yesteray so I feel like I have a bit more mobility just not the strength yet. and Oh - Becky!!!  I am going to go for PT for 4-6 weeks so that should help darlin"!!!

We are headed to beautiful Oregon.. will stay a few days in Ashland and then off to Gold Beach.  We are also going to take that day ride on the "Hells Gate" Jet Boats!  That is such a blast!  I like that.

Good Morning Nikki and Cali,

Well today is the last weekend of my old back.  Next week at this time I should be coming home from the hospital.  Today brings on NASCAR nationwide series and then tomorrow is the Sprint cup series.  That of course is the highlite of my weekend.  Nothing happening here.  I did do thing yesterday that I was not supposed to do and I am paying for it dearly today, but I wanted to give my hubby a break, because after next Thursday, he will be on his own, and he will find out what it is like to work and take care of a household. He is truly the king here, doesn't do much, but work and come home, the rest is up to me.

I wish everyone a great weekend.  Nikki I so remember those days when I worked, nights, weekends, holidays, but there is a light at the end of the shift work tunnel, it's called retirement and OH, how I love it.

Niki,  nice to see you are still on the board.  Sorry, I never work weekends and have SSM off until Sept.  Then FSS.  I am unpacking from my move still and looking for everything and finding things I haven't seen in a while.  So I am hanging out at home working on my place and playing with my pc.  Nothing special, but at least it isn't work.  Thank you for the next lunch invitation.  I will see if I can make that.
