Good Morning

Good morning Diane and Cali,

It has been up and down all night around our camp.  Jordyn is running a low fever, but its a first for mom so I don't mind saying I'm a bit concerned.  I hope its just teething.  I have to say that other than being a lil clingy she is her usual self.  So today will just be chill mode here.  Maybe catching up on sleep.

Diane as someone who has sleep issues the being put the sleep is the part I enjoy the most because it is the most restful sleep I ever get.  I am always wierdly excited for it.

Thanks Monica, I also have very strange sleep patterns and am not a good sleeper.  I never thought about the fact that I am going to get a good nap.  I need to keep reminding myself how good I did with my shoulder surgeries, and not remember how bad I did with the bypass.  I wish I could pick my doc for putting me to sleep, geesh, I sound like a dog.  There is one guy at Loma Linda that I really like, and everytime I had my knees done I would ask for him, but he don't work out of St B's....we shall see.

Today, more job search.  Doing a little laundry now and probably a little house cleaning too.

Not much else is new in my neck of the woods.  Hoping and praying that Michelle comes home soon.

Good Morning everyone!
I'm sitting here, writing up my notes for the Final, sick to my stomach  with nerves.  Right now I'm just looking forward to running home after the exam is OVER.  I checked the distance and its 7.85 miles.  That should relieve my stress.

Diane.........I'm praying for you for tomorrow.  I can't wait to hear you're out of pain and on the road the recovery.

GOod morning Cali friends - quick type by for me as I am finishing up getting things together to go to Vegas today....plane leaves at 12:30 and I am so excited.

Haven't been around much as I have been so busy - worked an estate sale a couple of days last week and then just spending mega time with my guy before I leave for 5 days....

Diane I will be praying for you for sure....you will do great I know....

And Michelle - thanks for the text - better to be safe than sorry and stay the extra day in the hosp.

Everyone have a great week and pray that I hit a big jackpot this trip....I could so use the extra $$ for a great shopping spree at the pallazzo hotel.....can you say designer purse (Marc Jacobs) and designer shoes (loubitons sp)...

Good Morning Cali,

My weekend was great. 

Let see.  Saturday, all of the stores on W. 3rd  were having their sidewalk sale and a lys (local yarn shop) had some yummy Rowan Merino on sale at 50% off.  That is not all... there were 9 balls in all and in my favorite color... purple!  I hurried up and snatched that up.  I already have plans for those little babies... a nice cardigan complete with a shawl collar and a knitted belt.

Sunday, I went to see the movie Orphan.  That was crazy!  Without giving the whole plot away, let me say this... if you are planning to adopt a child in the near future, don'****ch this movie. LOL.

Friday evening , I went to Long Beach and stepped into Nordstrom Rack. Bad move.  Started looking at shoes.  Another bad move.  Started trying on the shoes.  Yet, another bad move.  (See where this is going?) Tried on 7 pairs of shoes.  Bought 2 pairs of shoes.  Just a string of bad , bad moves.  Actually, I needed a pair a "everyday" shoes. The shoes I had had started to turn at the heel and they just did not look right with the cute dress that I was wearing.   I am getting more into heels vs. wedges (although they are my favorite).  Both pairs are black with 2" heels.  One pair is patent leather with a buckle on the toe box.  The other pair is fabric (criss -cross) by Areosoles.  So comfy.  I am comtemplating on returning the black ,patent leather ones.  Hmmm!

So, that is the story of my life.
