Diane, good luck with surgery.  I have high hopes and I am not an easy stick either with the IVs. It took them awhile before WLS surgery to the point of it being frustrating!

Chris, I am stoked for you about the cruise. Going on an Alaskan cruise is on my list of must do's for travel.

My week of work looks mundane and boring. I am writing lots of statements about the California budget this week and doing a lot of reading about it.  Boredome is my munchy danger zone. I must be prepared so I don't do something stupid. 

No drama, no excitement from me this week.

Way I look at it is 4 more days till they fix your back so you can have your life back and get up and start playing with us again.  I am wishing you the most perfect surgery ever, a speedy recovery and remarkable results so you can stop suffering with all the pain and then you can stop some of the meds too.

Well i am working.  Monday is very close to weekend.  Makes it tough but we are plugging along.

I am praying for you and missing you. 

Who is going to call us once your out of surgery?  Doug? Linda?  Someone please.

Yes Cindy really is my cousin, for all of those that are wondering.  Anyway, I will have a list of people and will have Linda text everyone when I get out of surgery and tell you all what the doctor says.  I can't wait till it is over.  Waking up with a very dry mouth and a sore throat, I hate those things, and the smell of the mask in your nose...ucky!

Say hi to everyone at home, even those 3-4 legged babies.

I missed our swim/bbq this year.  Next year for sure we will be there.  We will all be there and I look forward to floating around in the pool with a glass of water.  By the way, you still look great.  See you at Thankgiving for sure, and then Vicki's birthday on Dec 25th.

Good morning my sweet Diane, and Cali crew!!!

I bet you can't wait Diane, I'm excited for you! I'm planning on making a trip to see you on one of my days off next week. I know you will be in GREAT hands and my prayers are with you for a complete success and easy healing!!! Miss you girlie!

Chris, how totally exciting!! See, that good Karma comes back around to give you what you give out to others!! You so deserve it, but I am sooooo jealous, I want to do an Alaskan cruise. Trying to talk Mike into one, maybe for our honeymoon next year.

So, I'm back to work and it is kicking my bootay, I'm exhausted!!!   It's good to be back though and everyone is happy to see me. Everyone is like "it's been a month already?"  yup, it went fast for sure!!!  I went from a size 18 to a 14 in my uniform top, woo hoo,  and we are still working on the pant issue. Almost in a 14, but still sooooo swollen, and they must run really small. Going in today to see what can be done, as I'm drowning in the pants they gave me. One of my managers said, "why didn't you get new pants?"  I did, but they don't fit!!!

More work today, but it should be a whole lot more mellower tonight! Hope everyone has a great week and try to stay cool!!!
Keep Michelle in your prayers that her new stomach will let her get some fluids in so she can go home!!!!
