Hi Cali Crew,

I am thinking of my mom right now and feeling a bit overwhelmed myself.  She's having her second appointment today for her second round of chemo.  She does this for August and September and they check to see if the chemo is shrinking the tumors. If they aren't she will probably be dubbed as a terminal cancer patients, if it's working she'll still be considered treatable. All this cancer stuff just stinks.  She's only 63 years old. She was diagnosed with state 4 uterine cancer three years ago.

This is weighing heavy on my mind.

Morning MoMo...yeahhhh I actually get to say 'good morning'!  Work has slowed down a bit since I got year end done, well, almost, but the 'busting butt' part is over at least ^_^

Today finds me playing,,,,I mean, posting money to member accounts, taking lots of breaks to come here and read, and wishing the day would move faster LOL  But like Diane says, if it goes too fast, it is almost the same as losing a day.  I would rather just spend it somewhere else than at work.

Happy to hear Michelle gets to go home today. Home is so much better than the hospital; just hoping they got the fluid intake under control. Would hate to hear she had a trip to ER.

Missy Rhonda! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!  You sure looking sexy for a 'mature' woman ROTFLMAO  You looked great! in your bathing suit.

Chris...great to hear your son finally got his working papers..but you're gonna miss him...even if you don't think so right now.  Once the kids are gone..the house just seems tooooo quiet ^_^ But you'll get use to...I even came to enjoy the 'quiet' LOL

MoMo and Joy...GREAT JOB pulling off the weekend surprize! I bow down to both of you LOL   Sure hope there are pictures of Rhonda's face when she saw Joy...betcha it was priceless.

Diane...Thursday, day AFTER tomorrow...the day before Friday..yep, got it ^_^  Have you in my prayers, little lady...sure hope it gives you the relief and quality of life you so richly deserve 

Barb...keeping Ron in my prayers also..hopefully, all the networking will pan out and you both find jobs real soon.  Good news about Bert...and Isla looked so relaxed this past weekend.  You are an absolute angel including her in all your outings...she is so much fun! 

Rick!  I've already said it once, but....WOW WOW WOW!  Keep up the great job...and keep your avatar current!! LOL

Well, that's all I can remember, gang.  I do enjoy reading of everyone's escapades and adventures...and those, who like me, just go thru the day waiting for the weekends when 'time' belongs to me.  Have a great day, follow doctors orders and be good to yourselves !

Ok, I missed the morning, so Good Afternoon Cali!!

Today I'm at work and looking forward to being off in a few minutes.  Yay!  Made a very tasty penne pasta and short rib dish that I saw on the Food Network and took it over to my Dad and sister.  Kept some for dinner tonight and my daughter took some of it for lunch today.  She's going out for su****onight so she wanted her cut for lunch.

Not too much else going on here.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY RHONDA!!  WELCOME HOME MICHELLE!
