Kirsten, I think 'someone' behind the scenes is reporting this to OH as abuse or violation of OH's TOU. Can't imagine WHO it could be. Or I could be wrong, It's been known to happen. lol I would love to go on the cruise. Unfortunately, finances may prevent that from happening. Altho, we could probably arrange a birthday dinner for Kevin before or after the cruise so that those who can't make the cruise can still celebrate with you and Kevin. Just a thought. =)

I have no idea what or who brought all of this on.  All I know is that it is ridiculous to say that it can't be posted because it costs money.  LIFE COSTS MONEY!!!!! 

I am not asking for money from anyone....geez!!!!

It isn't so much about the cruise anymore as it is being accused of something I'm not doing!

I am awaiting a response from OH.....I can't wait to see what they have to say now.  LOL


And yes....we will do a dinner before we leave!  :-)

You know, I was wondering about that too, Katt.  It does say something about member or members reporting it.   How sad would that be.  I don't know that I've ever seen this happen before, Kirsten.

Yep.....I guess that Starbucks meeting we had up north was against policy too.  After all.....I believe I spent about $10 at Starbucks that day.....and I had to put a couple coins in the parking meter too!  LOL

Hope to be able to get together again.......would love to plan another trip up North!

Argh! This is lame, but I have a feeling good intentions came from the policy.  I think suggesting to OH that they could avoid the look and feel of advertisements if the person suggesting the idea is not going to profit personally from the suggestion of doing an activity that costs money. Kirsten, perhaps you could suggest that and if they don't agree, we OHers could jump in and write letters of support.  As somebody who is reletively new to this site, one of the powerful parts of this group seems to be the ability to create social and fun activities and that sometimes takes money.

Yes.....fun activities do take money.  That's why we all work so hard.....so we can hopefully have money to not only pay bills but have some fun too.  I don't think any of us had weight loss surgery and changed our lives just to sit behind a computer.  Most of us want to enjoy our new life!
