To everyone who sent their well wishes, texts, called, came by, thoughts, prayers, or even just read one post about me. I have to say: THANK YOU!!!! You mean so much to me! Becky, thank you for being the best Co-angel a "sister" could ever have! Thank you for everything you have done. I am glad, too, that God has brought us together. Rhonda, You are the best angel, your love and caring ment a lot to me, even though I know you wanted to be there, You continued to keep in touch by text and calls, and thats all that matters. You are the most caring person with so much love to give and share with others. Chris S., WOW!! Where do I begin? The blessings that you have bestowed upon Howard and I will never be forgotten. Thank you so very much for the beautiful hat. I will become a proud member of "The Hat Club", do we have a name yet? lol! I have so many people to thank, I am sorry if I don't shout out your name, but its not because you mean any less to me, you all mean the world to me. I have never known the meaning of friendship as I know it now, on here. People that I have never met and the offer of support astounds me. Please accept a hug of thank you from me. I also offer my friendship and support to  you should you want or need it. I could never have started my journey without the support I found. You have all made a major difference in my life. Special thank you to: Lori C., Naomi, Heather A., Barb, Nancy, Diane, Jackie, Jean, MoMo, Katt, Karen, Janeene, and Paula K., I am sorry again if I am forgetting some people, my mind hasn't been the same! Much love to all of you!
Many hugs, Much love, and always friendship & support,

Michelle T.

Congratulations on making this milestone!  Don't over-do it or try to rush the recovery period like I did.  Give yourself this chance to take great care of yourself.  Cream of Wheat was a great friend to me after surgery as well as protein shakes.  Watch all the trashy TV you can, you will definitely find this on VH1,  and read all the books you've always wanted to read.

Congratulations Michelle.  Nice to see you made it home.  Now the real fun begins.  You're going to deal with alot of emotions in the next week or so.  There will be self doubt, there will be some depression and there will be moments of joy.  Just  feel all your feelings.  It's going to be a new sensation for you.  Where before you ran to food whether happy or sad, that is not there right now.  So feel your feelings and reach out to those around you for comfort.  And my best bit of advice of all STAY AWAY FROM THE SCALE.  It's tempting to want to see what's happening, but your body is going to go through so many changes in the next couple of weeks that the scale is meaningless.  Just go for your ride and don't worry about numbers.  Get your walking in, get your sipping in and get your talking to friends on the phone or through email done.  Keep yourself busy and occupied and remember to get plenty of rest.  You're going to be very tired for a while.

Again, good to see you are home.
