~~Daily Thanksgivings~~

Good Afternoon to all

Today I have some things to be thankful for, and also to grrrrrrrrr about.  They include:

1.   Not sleeping the ENTIRE night.  This is a grrrrrrrrr that has turned into being thankful because first, it gave me the opportunity of having enough time to knock out the morning shout out.  I feel pretty good about it, but it still pales to what I used to do.  Maybe next time I will come up with the articles and the countdown to Christmas.   AND  second, I also had time to make some snickerdoodles for my Air Force child and for my sweety pie to take to work.  They all LOVE when I don't sleep cause that means cookies.    Now I just gotta go get the kids' into the mail.

2.  I am thankful for the tone of the posts recently.  I don't mean to be one of those, "Well, in my day, we had to walk thirty miles in the snow without shoes and backwards," kind of folks, but truly, back in the day, mostly all of our posts were friendly and joking and it was evident how we felt towards one another because of that tone.  We also used to put together adventures all the time, small ones from like having lunch to large ones like celebrating 50th b-days with a long weekend in Vegas.  Ninety nine percent of the time everybody really did love everybody and, even though there still was drama now and then, there was hardly any major drama at all.  Come to think of it, when there WAS major drama, it involved the same people as have continued to be involved until recently.  Kinda makes you go hmmmmmmm.  BUT I DIGRESS............  To make a long story short, I am thankful we are all playing nice, because that makes it, well, nice!! 

3.  I am thankful because my youngest just called and got himself a damn job, FINALLY!!!!  He has been putting apps in all over.  Look out Jamba Juice, here he comes.  This is a SUPER BIG THANKFUL!!!!   

4.  I am thankful for my guy.  We had a "cooling off" period of about six months and I was just lost without him, but all is good again and has been for a while.  We both fixed what we needed to fix in our relationship and I am now totally confident that this is "the one" and we will be together until we croak.  I just hope we don't croak for a long time.  I love you Jeffy 

Well, I really could go on and on and on but I do have to get to work at my job that doesn't give me a paycheck.  Only I could get a good deal like I have regarding lots of work and lack of pay.  I am THE ONE that you can sell ocean front property in Kansas to, and for top dollar at that.

That was an awesome shout out today, and you say that pales in comparison to what you used to do?  Wow...  Wish I could have seen some of those!!

So let me add I'm thankful for people like you and Barb who make these awesome posts!!

Thank you all Cali friends for the great thoughts, wishes, toes and fingers crossed etc.  I'll keep you posted.  I didn't hook up with the one but left a message and I was out in the back picking peaches when he called, and he wants me to call him tomorrow.
