Just to clarify for the moderators , there is no entrance fee to Silverwood Lake. However, there is a parking fee if you wish to bring your car into the park. If you walk into the park it is 100% FREE!!!!! No money involved at all. Just to be clear, anyone can ENTER the park for FREE. Only vehicles are charged.
Now, I would personally park inside the recreation area because I don't want to walk 6 or 7 miles to get into the park for FREE. But you can get into the park for FREE if you wish. This is a state run recreation area that is FREE for anyone to enter. The only charge is a parking charge if you bring your car. No one is required to bring their car into the park.
Did I make this clear enough to everyone? The park is FREE to enter.
