Hey!! Wake Up!!!! It is that great day, the Wacky Wednesday Weigh In. You know the drill by now, since the pounds being lost are adding up so quickly. Aren’t we already over 2000 pounds? Yes, I believe we are!!

First off, Tanya is having surgery this morning!! Won’t you please pop on over to her support page and give her a little wonderful CA support. But please make sure you don’t mention $$ when you do it. LOL!!LOL!!LOL!!
On to the rest of the shout out for the day (this brings back memories for me!).

Chris – Every time I see your smiling face, I have to smile myself…..(I didn’t mean for them to be lyrics to the song, but that is how it came out. Isn’t that a Jackson Browne song?? Anyway, I was going to say your smiling face reminds me of Costco. Our local Costco has some pretty kick ass sample ladies and I bet you rate better than them! Do you still have peace and quiet or is that a distant memory now?

Dolores – You are probably settled into your “home away from home" by this time. How much longer do you have to travel? This is all work related, right? Does the family miss you when you are gone? Sheesh!! another song lyric – this one by Brooks and Dunn. Too funny!!

Lisa – HI!!! Did you get to bake yesterday like you planned? Tell us about it. Did the bread have that yummy,  yummy aroma? My mouth is watering just thinking about hot, fresh homemade bread. What’s on schedule for today? Hope it is a great day!

Stacie – Hey there ole buddy! Hope you got caught up on some sleep. What kind of speaker did you have a church? Must have been a good one to have special services and all. Church food is some of the best food there is too, maybe not always WLS friendly, But God forgives us, right? LOL! I can feel where you are coming from when it comes to parents. We just gotta believe that they don’t mean to be hurtful, they are just doing the best they know how and WE get the chance to learn from their mistakes and be better parents to our kids. Have a great rest of the week!

Lori – Your avatar is soooo refreshing. Your smile just shines and even though you have sunglasses on, you can still see your eyes radiating happiness and good feelings for everyone. You have always been that kind of person to me, and I don’t think I have ever said Thank You to you for being that way, so, “Thank You for being the special person you are!!"

Janeeeeene (with all the eeeeee’s – lol!) and Mr. Janeene if you are looking too! – All your talk of studying gives me an Excedrin headache!! I have spent the last year in school, taking mostly law and paralegal classes. I give you MAJOR props because I know that in my case, pretty much all of my brain cells have gone south not just for winter, but pretty much for good! I also think it is so wonderful that you have the calling to become a nurse. We all know what a special person it takes to be a good nurse. Look at Ms. Liz and all the others here on the board, these are about the best example of nursing and caring that there is.

Barb – I must have missed something somewhere, because why are you called NewBarb2?  That screen name makes me think of something that Ron Popeil or Billy Mays (R.I.P) is trying to get us to buy during a midnite infomercial. That’s right, get your NewBarb2, comes complete with refills and a money back guarantee! Act now and we will throw in a set of these Ginsu knives as well as the big daddy knife that saws a 2x4 in half and then slices a tomato paper thin! ( I think the late hour is finally catching up to me!) I hope that the perfect job is right around the corner for you and I hope that hubby can go back to the schooling he wants to do. Way cool if that works out!! We are all keeping fingers crossed for you guys!

Diane – Ms. Diane with the beautiful smile, and soon to be fixed up body with no pain to go with that smile. I have so much respect for you and the pain you live through day in and out and you still have nice things to say to everyone. You are my ideal of class!

Kim in Fontana – Happy Wednesday to you!! I hope you have a fantastic day today. The weather is supposed to be great. I am very geographically challenged. Just where is Fontana anyways? Is it Northern CA or Southern CA?

Stef, Stef, Stef – I watched about ten minutes of America’s Got Talent last night. I don’t ever usually watch it, but I did see the Kentucky/Arkansas/Oklahoma guy sing the country song. Is he that good, because they raved about him and the song he did last night, I did not think he was that great of a singer. Maybe just a bad nite? Hmmmmm……. A little birdie tells me that in a few weeks, you are off to the land of sins. I am sure it is to save souls and to get others to “see the light!!" Have a great day at work, or at least try to. Love ya!!

Paula – Hey there girlfriend! Your stamina with these summer classes amazes me. They cram 18 weeks worth of info into what, six weeks? Your brain is impressive!!!! Do you enjoy being a docent at the tide pools? I always thought that would be cool to volunteer with something like that!

Rick – Maybe we should call you the Incredible Shrinking IE Man! Your progress has been amazing. You men give us ladies a bad name when it comes to rapid weight loss! Congrats to you for the FANTASTIC job you have done so far! Sorry about the skin cancer crud. You are so right that sunscreen is a body’s best friend! I hope as the days go by, your pain lessens.

Kimmy aka Puddin’ – Girlfriend, I sure hope that we will be able to do that “C" thing early next year, not that I am trying to get any $$ out of ya or anything - LOL!! How’s the knitting? What is your latest project? Share with us!!!

Gus – I just can’t believe that you are not as adventurous as Kirsten when it comes to “make it yourself" bungee assembly and jumping. Are you gonna let a little wimpy girl from the ‘burbs show you up?

Jaime – Happy Surgiversary to you, you hot, hot, HOT mama!! I remember when you first came to these boards, just having broken up with Dickwad (that was his name, wasn’t it??) and skeered of the world. All I can say now is, “WOW!!!!! Youse (you is) a new woman!!!"  AND a damn sexy and confident one too!!!

Marilyn (MzBrooks) – Here’s wishing you a wonderful day today and everyday. Your surgery date is a good one. My Gramps, the coolest person on the planet, bar none, would have been 100 on that date. He is looking down over you, or maybe looking up at you! HA!!! LOL!!! Just kidding, he was ornery, but not that ornery!

Cindy – Welcome newbie, or noo-b, or newbee, or noob, however you want to spell it, we want to make you feel welcome so just type type type away. Don’t forget that we want to hear about your experiences too, not just have you ask ?’s because you are new to the game. We want you to feel at home. This is why you have been assigned laundry duty! HA HA HA!!!!

MsBlues – Goooooooood Morrrrrrnnnnnnnnningggggggg to you!! I think you are pretty darn fortunate to be able to wake up everyday in beautiful Santa Cruz. I lived in Felton for less than two months in June/July 1983 right after I was married. Then I got homesick and we moved back to my hometown, and here I am today, many,  many years later, but still loving life!
Nancy Sunray Yoda CatLady – Just a special BIG HELLO to you, mainly because you just make me smile and I really would like to meet you face to face soon!!

Naomi – Good Morning! I think you are one of the most beautiful peeps we have around here. Your skin is so flawless and you are soooooo pretty. Just wanted you to know and I hope that we can also meet in person one of these days.

Maureen – I hope that jury duty was at least a bit exciting???? Just think of how you are going to spend that HUGE amount the government gives you for performing your civic duty. Might be able to get a shoe box, never mind the shoes! Your rafting trip sounds like you all had a blast. Makes me almost wish I wasn’t afraid of water.

Rhonda – HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU

I hope I captured everyone. Don’t forget to respond with your weight loss for the past week. Let’s see how high of a number we can get. Chris, thanks again for keeping track!!

Good Morning Miss Jillie,
You miss all us So Cali people so you need to come down here and see us!!! I miss you too, it has been way too long.
As for WWW everything has been going really weird. I have appts with Dr Tanaka and my PCP to figure out what is going on. I refused to step on that evil thing that goes up when I eat little and exercise!!
I am off today, so I am a happy girl.
I am broke though so can you grant me an IOU for the $$ for responding?? Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Be good to youselves and those around you!!

I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,

Good Morning!  I haven't weighed in yet today as I'm not home yet.  Yesterday I was standing on a great big ZIP, ZILCH, NADA, NOPE, NOT HAPPENING ZERO.  I didn't gain while out playing, but didn't lose either.  Time to fix that.

I'm working the 11pm to 11 am shift today.  (just took a 4 hour nap on the floor here - remind me to bring a cot tomorrow)  I'm zonked.

Jayders went home last night to his momma who will be bringing him back again on Sunday with a list of school supplies needed, school clothes needed and Jayders and I will head out with dad's money and go shopping.

Wishing I still did caffeine................

Good Morning  Julie and all the peeps of So Cal,

What a great shout out!!  Thanks for taking notes and doing such a wonderful job.

Well tomorrow is the day.  I will be at the hospital tomorrow at this time and they, hopefully, have that pesky iv in.  I HATE them.  I complain everyday after surgery to take that damn thing out.  I think I am worried about that, and also, that I cannot lay down.  I have been in this recliner for a good 7 weeks now.  I sit and look at my bed so many times and just want to climb in, but I know that pain is just too much to handle.  OK enough about that.

I am down 2 more lbs.  I am so proud of myself.  Sitting here and being able to lose weight.  I can't wait to be able to start to take walks in the neighborhood.  At first they will be slow, and I think I am going to have to be driven down to the corner because I live on a hill, but when I am out of the brace, I can't wait.  I am just hoping that the lower half of my body begins to receive message correctly from my brain again.

So, I am hoping that everyone has the most wonderful of days.  It's hump day, you working people, it's the top of the hill and it's a downward slide now to Friday. Also here is the link for Tanya support page.

Hi Diane
I just had to jump in here and tell you how much I respect and admire you....you have such a positive attitude amid the pain and inconvenience you are experiencing.  I can only pray that this surgery does the trick and you will once again be out enjoying the fullest of lives...you certainly have earned it.

Good Morning Miss Diane!

Thank you for the protien bullets and drinks you sent. I have to get them from Miss Rhonda. I might see her today. She was out partying until all hours of the night with a handsome suitor! Some might say it was her birthday or something yesterday! Lol!
I will be saying special prayers for you tomorrow. You are never far from my thoughts. You are very special to me. I am positive all will go as its supposed to tomorrow. I will talk to you in a bit. I love you!

Hugs and lots of love,
