Amusement Park Question

I will be going with family to Paramount's Great America in Santa Clara to celebrate a birthday on August 15. I'm happily losing weight, but am a little worried about being able to fit my butt in the seats and have the bar go across my lap. My butt is 51" (standing - lol) and waist 41", weight 236# right now, and though I expect to lose a bit more before going, I don't think it would be a significant amount.
Has anyone visited this park recently? Anything comparable at another amusement park? If so, I'd appreciate any insight you might have.
Thanks in advance,
Michelle

I haven't been here is several years, BUT the last time I was at an amusement park I weighed 300+ lbs. Don't know my butt measurement, I was able to ride the roller coasters which are the most constricting rides. It was definately a tight squeeze and took several shoves to get the bars down, but down they went. So, I'm thinking at 236, you should be fine. I am 5'9" and wore size 26/28 pants at the time, but again didn't actully measure inches then. Good luck and have fun.

Includes 25 lbs. pre-op loss.

Thanks for the info - I really didn't want to get kicked off a ride with my nieces there. Now I think I'll just look forward to it!

you should be fine..I have a large rear end I think my hips are 60 inches or so and I weigh 278 pounds. I just recently went to knotts berry farm in buena park and I fit fine in all the rides. Go have fun!!!
