8PM Diane Update

So, we just got back from visiting with Diane.  I told Mike we would probably only be there for a few minutes as she had just had surgery and we might even have to leave her note because she would be so out of it.

WRONG.......she was sitting up in bed and you would never have believed in your wildest imagination that this woman had surgery, major back surgery just a few hours earlier.

She looks fabulous, sounds just like herself and was just talking like nothing was wrong.  She's ready to go home.

Well about an hour after arriving, as my stomach was just growling for dinner, we said goodnight.  She said maybe she'd take a nap for a little bit. HA.  She has her phone and if anyone has her number and feels like calling go ahead.  I know she'd love to talk and if she finally gets tired, she'll tell ya.

We actually took a video of her and if Mike can figure out how to get it on my computer and then on to OH, I'll put it up here.  Chances of that happening are probably slim to none, so I'll look at it again later and come back and give a complete description.  Ummmmm...No.   Won't be doing that.

It was great seeing her and seeing her doing so amazing.  She is truly a wonder woman.

WOW thanks for such great news about Diane.  I just know she is going to be so much better now.   I am not all all surprised, she has such a positive attitude about things, she is destined to be a quick healer with her quick wit and *****

Wow!  That is the best news.  I'm so glad she is doing so well.  I'm thinking about driving out tomorrow and see her but was concerned that she might be feeling a little out of it.  This is just too good to be true, but I'm so happy for her!!

Yep, our Diane is just amazing.  I am so happy to hear she is doing so well.  Going home by Saturday sounds like no problem for her. LOL  After being in a 'sit' for 7 weeks, Doug is gonna have a hard time keeping her down to recoup ^_^  Way to go Diane!
