Tuna
Im still on soft foods but I have been adding: tuna, cannelini beans, light sour cream, relish, a sprinkle of shredded cheese and a little ranch dressing dry seasoning and chopping it in my mini food processor and eating it very smooth. It doesn't look very good but tastes yummy and has tons of protein.
It also works with the chicken in a can.
hugs!

My only 2cents to add is: be careful starting new foods....I would start with the tune and lite mayo...make sure your pouch says 'ok' and then next time add the onion powder, relish, etc. Be sure to chew the tuna real well...no chunks going down. My pouch was still very tender at 3.5 weeks and I made sure everything that went down was in fairly liquid form. And be sure to measure! You won't know when you are 'full'...so stick to measureing everything. At least, this is my opinion..and I'm sticking to it ^_^

Hey Jackie
I'm just shy of 5mos out and I still don't feel the old feeling of 'full'. It's a new feeling. I can eat a cup of say, diced chicken. I get a dull ache in my 'stomach'...it took me a couple of months to figure out that was my pouch telling me it had enough for that meal. If I try to eat anything more beyond that point, I'm gonna hurt till the food passes...luckily I haven't had any dumping or side effects...but I'm learning to not pu****! But to answer your question, the sense of being hungry or full, not anything like the old feeling...just an 'ache' that signals the pouch is talking to me. Hope this helps

I had (still do) my 2 oz of tuna with 1 tsp mayo mixed with 2 Tbl FF sour cream, diced dill pickles and a shake of dried, minced onion.
I still can't eat scrambles eggs a year out.
Advice: One bite, wait a minute, second bite, wait a minute. I usually know after the second or third bite if I'm going to have a problem. Good luck!
