Good Saturday Morning Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for...

1. Another gorgeous morning, sitting here in my living room looking out at the garden, hearing the birds singing, and sipping my coffee.  Thank you God for another beautiful day,

2, For my father--in-law who continues to get stronger and more back to his self every day and for the wonderful and caring folks where he is that want him to succeed at returning home.

3. For finding Experience Unlimited where I can help others in their job search while I am looking too.  Even if I find a job, I think I will continue to volunteer here because so many people need someone who cares to help them in their job search and who understands what it's like. (Employment Unlimited is funded by Calif. Employment Development Dept and is a wonderful organization and it's free!)

My bad, it's called Experience Unlimited and it's a wonderful organization with chapters statewide.  I'm not sure where in So Cal you are but here is a link to the Corona Chapter...

EDD's job club services are provided at no fee statewide through the Department's Experience Unlimited Program. A wide range of professional, technical and managerial job seekers participate in these job-hunting programs.

EDD offices provide space, equipment and a staff specialist for the club. This important service addresses the needs of job seekers who have lost their jobs as a result of corporate mergers, relocations, downsizing, and technological shifts.

The surprises that some special friends share with me.
That my neice is having a healthy baby girl, and I can go to her baby shower tomorrow.
The health of my family.
That people choose to share their friendships with me, which I cherish very much.
My lovely "furry" canine daughters, that look beautiful after the groomers!
My friends here on OH for asking about me and sharing advice and caring about my well-being
And I am thankful that I am still doing very well and feeling fantastic a week out of surgery!

Hi Barb and Cali Crew,

Barb, I also was part of Experience Unlimited when I was let go from my company in 2002.  Their services were great and the comradarie with fellow job seekers was helpful.

Today I am thankful for.....

1. A day with no schedule
2. The awesome weather we have
3. A nice backyard to sit and read in
4. My gym membership which will allow me to go swim laps later today
5. My husband's recovery from dental surgery is going very well
6. My mom is feeling better today after having chemo earlier this week

I just have a lot to be thankful for today!!
