Morning Rebecca
Sounds like you are moving in the right direction. I know that times have been tuff and rather rocky for you over the past year..but you are getting to a better place! And congratulations for wanting to get back on track...I know the feeling of being out of control...not fun :-(

One more thing you might look into...check with the hospitals in the area, go on line, etc but find a Support Group!  It's great to have an on line support (Calif group is the BEST! LOL) but going to a meeting and finding friends in the same boat just makes the journey a little easier...and the support and encouragement you get is Priceless!

I wish you well, you have made great strides...got a job, got your own place...you ARE succeeding!  Be Proud of yourself!  You have come a long way ^_^

Rebecca,

Just wanted to say hi and hang in there.  You can take off those lbs, just get back on track with journaling and all the things that you did post-op.  The 5 day pouch test might be a good one for a jump start too.

I don't know much about the moving your stuff situation but I hear that PODS are a good option, not sure of the cost.  Shot in the dark here, but you might check with a reputable truck stop and see if they know anyone based in GA who goes to Cali.  If they were taking a full load from GA to Cali, and were returning with an empty truck, it's better to have something in the truck and earn a little than an empty one.  No guarantees, but that's why I would check with one of the well known reputable ones.

Best of luck,
Hugs,
Barb

Good morning.

I've heard of folks who are willing to move peoples things cross country but they aren't bonded, just looking for a way to make extra cash.  If you're willing to go that way check out places like: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/fuo/1312036998.html

I used google and typed in:

will move your furniture cheap

For getting back on track weight-wise...use all the space in your apartment to walk around while watching TV and add in a few jumping jacks here and there.  I still do that a lot. Drink more water and eat fewer carbs.  I know easier said than done on a low budget.

Good luck and keep working toward your goals.  Some days one takes the lead, other days another takes the lead.
