It's Saturday

It's Saturday , I can't sleep so I am canning pickle hey hey!!! Well, it kinda rhymes.LOL I hate when I can't sleep in the weeeee hours of the morning.
Stupid fat dog wants to get up to play already. No he really isn't stupid and yes, he is really a porky that is why his name is Crisco... I love this mutt to death but he really likes to get up way too early in the morning!
My plans for today are... finish cleaning up my old bedroom, put up some okra (canning for those that don't know the term also known as... putting up or putting by). I know it is old fashioned but it is what I grew up hearing from my Ma (grandmother). I love canning, it makes me feel like all the work I put into my garden all summer long continues to pay-off all through the winter months as well. As well as help with our food budget.
Now I would love to trade Mo Mo's DH for some of his smoked /canned albacore tuna for whatever I will be putting up this year. The thought of it makes my mouth water. When he was telling me about smoking and canning the albacore I thought I was going to have to wipe the drool from my chin.LOL Mo mo I hope you see this. hint hint hint. LOL (((HUGS))))
I have to say that The MoJo clan are some really nice people!! And Jayden is just tooo sweet for words!!!

Good Morning Calif...........

I feel like I have not been around in a long time. I know I posted yesterday. But it was a type by and run. I feel like I am missing something. LOL

This is my weekend off, but I am working today. Then tomorrow, Maddie and I are going to go for a hike. Try to mind my P&Q so I don't hurt myself or get my back acting up. Stephine will KICK my butt!

Just like Joy, I had a hard time sleeping. I was up until 1 this morning. No matter how hard I tried, sleep would just not come. Then I woke this morning I woke up at 4, and laid there waiting for the alarm to yell at. Which it did at 5 UGH!!

This weather has been so very funny. But I am loving the cool nights. But per the news, I guess that is going to chance soon, and not for the better. Unless you like the hot weather. Hey, speaking of hot weather, has anyone every tried cooking an egg on the car or sidewalk??? I seen a thing a long time where some college did that, and it really cooked. Or they made it look like it cooked.

This weekend brings more studying.  Chapter 5 Weather: synoptic scale features, frontal zones, backing winds, pressure gradient force, Coriolis effect, radiation fog and my fav...orographic lift.  One more week til my test.

I'm not at home, so I am not entirely sure, but I think it was called "Weather Studies" - - yup, I just looked it up. Weather Studies (with an Investigations Manual) by Joseph Moran.
