Great, thanks, I'll get a copy of that too.  Some of this is pretty tough to get through.   I can use all the help I can get.

I had to buy the okra this time and this will be the first time to pickle any...I tasted a sample of pickled okra at the Olive Pit in Corning (come back from my long weekend of fun with 2 other FFC) and I loved it. My Grandma used to make it and I love it as a kid too. So I am going to try one of the recipes I  found.
I'll let ya know how it turns out.

Joy,

I love stopping in Corning when my husband and I travel up north to see his family.  The Olive Pit is great.  How fun!

Good morning  Cali,

Glad to sleep in my "own bed".   It is nice having a big old king to myself but it gets lonesome!  Today nothing too exciting, cleaning some laundry and probably a trip to the park thrown in somewhere.  Ms Vanessa loves the park and will ask "where are we going today!".

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Joy and Cali,

Well it has been one heck of a week.  Turned out my baby girl had roseola.  She borke out in the rash on thursday (you get the rash when the fever breaks and that means its over).  Even thought the internet said the rash wasn't itchy I have to say in the true Wilson spirit we don't follow the trend.  She seems almost back to herself this morning.

On Thursday I went to take my exit which is the last step in me clearing my credential.  Well it was a joke.  They had you a question and send you to another floor to the computer lab to type up an answer.  It was a case study and I should have aced it, but the lab was so distracting with people talking, cell phones ringing, and 3 nights of a little sleep God help me.  I just have to wait and see now.

So for the weekend it is catch up on sleep, hopefully some cleaning so I can continue to keep the ants at bay accompanied by general laziness.

Quick edit: I forgot to tell you all that I had my endoscopy yesterday and all is clear no ulcers.  He is thinking that the pain I was having every morning may have been the beginning of my gall bladder issues.  Thanks again for all of the support.

Everyone enjoy the day

Monica

Good Morning Joy and Cali Friends,

Joy, have fun canning today.  I will freeze some peaches (I do so yearly) and usually make cobbler or pie around Thanksgiving and/or Christmas when everyone is dying for peaches!  LOL  I use fruit fresh and set them on a cookie sheet and pop them in the freezer until they are good and frozen and then seal them.  It works!  LOL

Today bring John Muir support group, hope to see Eileen, Tammy, Lisa, Jenn and April there and hopefully see my surgery twin Mary who I haven't seen in a couple of months.  The Nancy aka Sunray and Lon are coming over to pick peaches and perhaps we might even be able to convince them to stay for dinner (hint hint, Nancy doesn't know that until she reads the post this morning!)

Tomorrow, Eileen (weein) and I are hopefully going to walk somewhere!  LOL  We'll game plan today at support group.  I'm sure a trip to the grocery store is somewhere in the mix this weekend as is a load of laundry and some house cleaning.

I hope everyone has a great day, and do something nice for yourself and someone else!

Hugs,
Barb
