good sunday morning

good morning cali friends,

i'm up real early and can't go back to sleep..
i had a blast are the river yesterday even though i didn't get in all the way .. it was cool the water anyway.. it's suppose to get past a 100 today arrrr that's hot.. i think i'll take my daugther to the park with sprinklers.. i'm going to my bf's house to eat fried dough i wonder how that;s gonna go with my pouch..i better to one bite and see how it goes... i would hate to throw it back up.. and then after that its car washing time.. my car is filthy.. anyway that's it for me today... i hope everyone has a great day...

Today is teacher appreciation day at officemax so I plan to be there at 10 when they open.  I have to whole month planned out to get to each one (staple and office depot as well).  If anyone knows of any others please pass the info along.  Trying to get goodies for my kids gets harder and more expensive each year.  So that's about it for us today.

Good Morning all!  I'm up and just finishing my vitamins and protein fruit smoothie.  We had such a blast at the lake yesterday (once we got the boat fixed) that we're going back again today.  Then I blast out of there at about 5:30 to go pick up Jayden and haul him back down here for his last 2 week stay with dad before school starts.  We are going to go school clothes shopping, new shoes, socks, etc  The first week dad and Jayden have to get in all their late night fun activities such as cartoon movie marathons and rattlesnake hunting because next sunday starts the MoMo enforced school bedtime routine.  Bath, teeth brushed, room cleaned and in bed by 8:30.  I super-promised his mom I would do this. 

Lisa..........no matter how tempting it is to try fried bread - stay away from it!  It's got some major evils there.  White carbs, fried, sugar.  Say NO to the bread.  Eat a cheese stick instead and just smell the bread.  Your pouch will thank you later!

Have a great time at the lake.  I am playing it lazy today and catching up on Big Brother.  Just too busy these days and needed a break from general life.  I left my phone charger in Vegas so I got to run back to the verizon store and get a new one as it is cheaper to get a new one then to have them mail me my old one.  now isn't that specail!  Well back to the Big Brother Marathon for me.  Hope you are having fun and chat with you maybe tonight?

Morning Lisa and All Cali gang
Today is suppose to be hot...suppose to go over 100 but tomorrow should return to some kind of sanity...back down to mid 90s.

Yesterday morning ran errands, did laundry and then spent a fun day picking peaches and yakking over at Barb and Ron's. Special treat was Isla (Ron's mom) came over and spent the afternoon with us. It was great just sitting in their backyard, talking and have a great time with good friends.  I felt bad that we couldn't stay for dinner but Lon was anxious to get home before dark so he could work on the m/h..seems we have a new crack under the cabover--gotta be fixed since we are heading up to Washington.  You never know when it's gonna rain and it would come right into our bed area. Today is my turn at the m/h...cleaning it up, stocking supplies, changing bedding out...all the fun stuff LOL  

Also took back control yesterday of my eating behaviour...really been shooting myself in the foot lately...just because my head couldn't handle going into the 150's..makes no sense to me...emotions vs logic...really had to have a tuff talk with myself. Let's hope I didn't answer...if so, the guys in the little white jackets can't be far  behind LOL  Anyway, starting to use FitDay.com again...writing down every bite sure puts it 'in your face' what you are eating...no way to escape reality or play 'head games'.  But apparently I need the discipline and accountability. Whatever works, right? Yep!!

Not too much going on today.  There is a Jazz festival in  San Jose that sound interesting.  I am gonna see if I can talk the DH into going.  Not much going on yesterday either.  I did not accomplish what t I wanted to do (cleaning the house).  But did make it to the park and walked.

Oh my.....vacation has been just wonderful and now it must come to an end....We are sitting here up in Garberville and Benbow watching the news and the heat we have to come back to.  It was so nice and cool on the Oregon Coast,  I was freezing at times!  Lol

I will have to catch up on the boards and get back to the program!

Spent 2 days in Lincoln City last week. it was beautiful and wonderful. I was upset when I found out there was no a.c. in the hotel. Who needs it. we slept with our windows in the hotel opem

Good Morning Lisa and Cali friends,

So glad to hear you had a good time at the river Lisa, and like MoMo warned, the fried bread may make for a grouchy pouchy so be cautious.

Yesterday was a great support group meeting and then a wonderful visit with Nancy and Lon.  We picked the peach tree clean and enjoyed conversation and friendship too.  Nancy, you wouldn't recognize the tree now, Ron took off the broken branch and a few others and trimmed most of the citrus trees along the fence too!  That tree loves it though and will be back next year with avengance and probably baseball size peaches!

Today brings a visit to Ron's Dad, time for another haircut by barber Ron!  I am hoping to get a walk in this morning with Eileen (weein) too.  Other than that, sort of a laid back day as it's gonna be a hot one here.
