good sunday morning

Good Morning Cali Crew!

Today brings a trip to West Covina and San Dimas, for myself and DH. My neice's baby shower is today. That should be quite nice. Its the first time I will be a great-aunt on "my" side of the family. I am one 4 times over on hubby's side. I think I am too young to be a "great" anything! Lol! Now hubby is 17 years older than I, and so I just accept it on his side, hee hee. Oh, well... I will enjoy. I get to start soft food today! Yipee! Today marks 1 week and 2 days since surgery. I believe for the most part the nerve endings in my baby pouch are still asleep. But I am not pushing it. Not too much I can eat at the baby shower as they are having a sandwich, fried chicken, potato salad, chips and dip, etc. So I guess I will take my water bottle and string cheese. That should hold me. What do you all think?

Hi Cali Crew,

I have yet another do what I want when I went sort of day. YIPEE! My plan is to spend 30 minutes on my stationary bike, sit in the backyard in our glorious 77 degree and sunny weather and read the paper from cover to cover and make really good meals for myself today.  I guess I'll throw in a couple of chores I've been meaning to do as well.

Well! Good morning all!

I don't feel great this morning... not sure why, except that I ate at a friend's block party (potluck) yesterday... hmmm... lots of culprits there... i tried to be careful, but... things outdoors...food neighbors brought....  already upchucked just a wee bit...

My sibs and I are off to help the folks...we're painting a shed in their backyard. We primered it in July and finally are getting all together to fini**** up with the top coat. I'm hoping it stays kinda on the cool side again today. The shed is straight out in the sun! Mom's already go****er bottles on ice...

Good Sunday Morning California,

Spent a very nice day yesterday with my dad and sister.  Went through some of my mom's things and came home with every cookbook she ever owned.  (Sis does not cook).  We also went through her jewelry and I know she was smiling at both of us as we tried to be sure we were dividing things equally.  I've seen too many squabbles over possessions between family members that I did not want to dishonor my mom's memory doing that.  I think Dad was glad too, not that he had anything to worry about. :)

Today my hubby's family is having a big picnic.  Of all things, I am bringing bunches of brownies and cookies.  Eeesh...

Good Morning...
Well I slept in today.. prob cuz i went to bed so late.  I just don't seem to be that tired at night.. ugh lol.

Today Im headed to dana point for a concert in the park overlooking the beach.  Looking forward to seeing my family, should be a nice day though hot!  I will be taking water and cheese as cheese seems to be the one thing I can eat consistantly without feeling ill.

Good Morning Cali :)

I thought I should join in here :) Today, I'm just kinda nesting for the RNY on Tuesday since I may not be able to clean house for a few days. Leaving the housecleaning to my hubby and 5 year old is not a good thing, lol.  We are gonna head to the park with my kiddo when it cools off a bit later this evening.  I need to finish working on a website for a friend today too.
