Got my surgery date!

Hi There!

Well I have been lurking on this and the main forum for awhile but I got my surgery date yesterday so I thought I better participate!

I was wondering if there is anyone out there from Yucca Valley, Morongo Valley, Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs or Rancho Mirage.  I was thinking if there were maybe we could get a support group together.  I know that there is one monthly at Desert Oasis Healthcare in Cathedral City once a month but I thought it might be nice to have another.  Let me know if anyone is interested.

Congratulations on your surgery date.  Although I'm from Nor Cal, I thought I would officially welcome your to the Cali board.  A nicer group of folks you couldn't find anywhere.  So feel free to ask questions, there is a wealth of experienced friends here.

Thanks Barb!  I am originally from Northern California.  I grew up in Orinda and lived in Concord and Martinez for a couple of years before I moved to Southern California.  Thanks for the welcome.  I am pretty excited.  I come on OH everyday, several times a day and read what people post.  I have saved a couple of the discussions about products, recipes.  I am so grateful this forum is here.

Welcome to the boards and congrats on your surgery date!! :) :) I don't live out near the deserts, I'm more SGV area so I'm not sure if there is a support group out there.  I go to a support group that is put out by the doctor's office in Arcadia.
