Well thank you for the warm welcome!  I will be posting and enjoy getting to know you guys.  I am waiting to hear about my surgery date.  I am really ready for this.  I am 5'3" or 5'4"  depending on who you talk to.  I currently weigh 230.  I have several comorbids.  (Is that the right word)  Oh, I am 51 years old.  I live in Merced CA.  Thank you again for the warm welcome!

I'm up in Sac, 59 yrs old, 5mos out from rny...and I am loving my rny...would do it all again in a heart beat.

WELCOME NEIGHBOR!  I'm from Fresno CA and I too had Dr. Swartz as my surgeon for RNY on 6/11/09.  It's been 2 months and i've lost 60 lbs.  I love Dr. Swartz!  I had not one complication since surgery.  I feel great and I am very content with Dr. Swartz.  It only took their office 1 month to get me scheduled for surgery.

You are doing great.  I looked at your pictures and you have a beautiful family.  I have heard great things about Dr. Swartz.  I have had my first visit with him and he did a proceedure on the 29th of July.  I got my surgery date today and it is Sept. 9.  I could have the surgery sooner but he is on vacation this month.  I also could have had it the first week of Sept. but that is Dove Hunting Season and my husband will be very busy! LOL
