Hello Elizabeth,

Welcome the California forum. Do you have your surgery date scheduled? Congrats on making it to this point. I had my surgery 10 weeks ago and I've lost 53 pounds and lots of inches. I haven't had complications either.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

53 lbs in 10 weeks, that is awesome! I will have surgery Sept 9. It is just around the corner!

The check is in the mail. I am a retired letter carrier so you and I both know what that means! I just got my surgery date. September 9. I will have the surgery at Clovis Community Hospital. I am so excited. I saw my PA today and I do need to get my blood pressure under control first. I am just chaning meds. The first med made me cough all the time.

All of you have been so nice! I am glad I found you!

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the California Board, but have been a member of OH for a little better than three years now. I have Lap band, and have done really well with it and lost approx 130lbs. Unfortunately, my band has severely slipped and I'm now awaiting approval for the sleeve (which I heard will most likely denied because it's considered experimental) but should it be denied I will be having RNY.
