Happy Thirsty Thursday Gang!
How is everyone out there in OH land. Been busy around here getting the kids ready for school and all my adventures. Those are all coming to an end because with the kids in school and keeping up with their studies and all their activities it is going to be hard actually. But I will get through it all I am so sure.
I am off to see Diane this morning but I won't be home till later as I have so many errands to do today exchanging things and running errands all over the place after that.
I know I have been a bit MIA but please forgive me this time of the year gets very hectic around here and I have so much on my plate these days.
Ok guys you go and have a super terrific day and Keep our Lady Di in your prayers. I think this is going to be a long hard road for her.
Rhonda
I just realized something... my 3rd Surgiversery is comming up in two days! I have a busy weekend ahead of me starting with tonight...nail appointment. My nails look horrible. Afterwards, I might go to go Stitch n' ***** or to Sephora (or Lohmanns) for a little retail therapy.
Keeping our own Lady Di (thank you Rhonda) in prayer for relief from pain and a swift recovery.
More Love and Peace,
Kim
Water, water everywhere and lots of drops to drink. lol It was an unprecidented 80 degrees here yesterday! Ugh that's a far cry from our usual 55 - 65. I had lots of water and looks like toda will be the same.
I'm on the last chapter of the weather course. YAAAY! Tomorrow we drive to Alameda for the instructor part of the course then the test on Sunday. I'm thinking we'll stay an extra day or 2 to decompress. Even though I had a note to myself not to snack last night, I did. I hate when I do that. Flax-Z-Snax hot cereal with blueberries. Not the worst I've ever done but I can tell I'm stressed about this test. People over 55 shouldn't have to take tests. lol
I signed up for some brain games which seem to be helping with short term memory retention. They give you a series of tests to see where your shortfalls are then for 20 minutes every other day they give you drills to help improve the parts you have trouble with. It's been interesting to see the changes in just a week.
Diane, we miss your smiling face. Get well soon!
Sue, I hope the loan goes smoothly!
OK, I have to start chapter 8.
Have a great day.

I'm tired and all I really want to do is curl up in my bed and sleep. Add that to the fact that I'm bruising very easy and lethargic means my iron levels are low. So........... I'm off to the store at lunch to buy some iron tabs. Ooooh, I hate taking them but I will.
Time to get a move on.........
Not much planned here today. just work and then relax and possilby a nap this afternoon. I have 3 sick kids at home so I am just trying not to get sick. On an up note, I finally got a car. I have been waiting forever for this. It needs a lot of little work done to it. The one major thing is the smog needs to be done. The cadilitic (sp?) converter is cloged so it is not passing somg. the tags are paid and I just need to get the smog done.
Need to get back to work. Have a great day everyone.
PS....I am saying prayers for you Diane. I hope all goes well soon for you.
It's almost noon and I've cleaned up in the backyard and kitchen, made the family budget, paid some bills, checked on school books status, taken care of my some things for my sons. I realize now I haven't had anything to eat or my vitamins. The first thing I should do is take care of my stuff, then move on, but it's such a struggle for me. Oh well, something to work on.
I need to get something to eat now, vitamins. Then I'm running (literally) to the grocery store for a couple things. The store is a little over 2 miles away, so it fits right in with my training schedule. Then I can walk home or catch the bus. Then laundry and putting dinner in the crock pot. The rest of my "to do" list can go on tomorrow.
I'm praying for Diane and she's in my thoughts all the time now. My hubby and I even thought about going to visit her, but I'm not sure she'd be up to a lot of people coming and going. For those who can go see her, please keep us posted and give her hugs. Thank you!
Have a great Thursday California.
Can't believe it is already Friday tomorrow.. vacation is almost over. Back home on Saturday..
Sorry to hear Diane was not doing so well but is now on the road to mend. I actually signed on to see how she is doing.. Please tell her hello and I am sending my prayers for her recovery.. Lori W

Can you fill me in on this WWW post? Am I supposed to post my loss for 1 week at a time(Thur. - Wed) or how exactly are you tracking?
I want to participate, just let me know the details.
I see some of you here are training for the LB 1/2 marathon. My son started training for this on Monday. This will be his first. He is a Kineselogy (sp) major at LBSU and he really enjoys fitness. He has asked me to train for the walk, but I am only 4 weeks post op and the most I am doing right now is 25 minutes a night. This might be about 1 mile, I have not checked the distance yet. Maybe my husband and I will load the bikes into the back of the truck and ride along the path for support.
Well, need to get my tennis shoes on and go for my walk. I have been patiently waiting for my hubby to get home from work so he could go with me (oh I heard him walk through the door just now), so I will talk with you all very soon. Need to get my walk on people.
Hugs, prayers, blessings, to Diane. May she continue to get stronger everyday and recover fully.
Peace Out
Best of luck to you!
Chris
