Today I am thankful for...

1. For seeing an old friend from high school last night coming out of WalMart.  What a treat.  We live so close yet never seem to get togher.

2. For the start of a new week and hopefully and God willing a successful one.

3. For a wonderful weekend with family.

1.  For my family and friends.

2.  For a really good nights sleep.

3.  For a new day and new possibilities.

1. Getting 4 more days off to prepare for kids going back to school.

2.  For getting my garage semi organized so I have a place to work.

3.  For Steve the Geek Guy who fixed my computers right up!

It's Monday so I'll be thankful for the start of another week because it brings me closer to next weekend when Lu and I hit the road.

I'm very thankful to my niece's birth mother who gave us the greatest gift of all, my niece.  13 years ago that precious baby came into our family and even though now she is an obnoxious 13 year old she is still a joy.

I'm thankful for open adoption that has allowed my niece to forge a relationship with her older sister.  I was there yesterday when she called to send birthday wishes and my niece's face just lit up from that phone call.  She so enjoys having that special bond even though they are 3,000 miles away from each other.

I'm thankful for my son, who loves me more than I could ever expect or deserve. Everyday that goes by he just makes me more and more proud.

I'm thankful for my Mikey who puts up with all my bad moods and loves me inspite of my sometimes being such a royal pain.  But then again, I put up with him too, so it's all good.  LOL

I'm thankful for all my friends who make me laugh and in whom I can confide all my deepest, darkest secrets.

I'm thankful to see another sunrise.

Good morning Cali Crew!  I am thankful...

1.  That my mood is better.
2.  That the BART strike didn't happen.
3.  For a weekend of rejuvenating sunshine, exercise, rest and relaxation.
4.  That I had to clean out my closet, again.
5.  That the clearance racks at Macy's were kind to me and my pocketbook!
6.  That I have kept dinner down each day since Thursday of last week. 
7.  For how good journaling makes me feel.
8.  That it doesn't hurt to wear pretty heeled shoes all day anymore.
9.  That the scale is moving again after a what seemed like an eternity (but was actually only a couple of days)!
10.  For Barb. God Bless you Barb!

Aw thank you and God bless you too.  Aren't we glad that BART didn't strike?  Could you imagine what a log jam that would have created?  UGH.

1. Busting through a mini stall in my weight loss.
2. The Santa Cruz fire (Lockheed) continuing to be more contained and that most residents are able to return to their homes
3. A regular work day with no after hour events to attend
4. My crazy kitties who always put a smile on my face.
