Today I am thankful for...

1. That Diane is home and feeling better everyday thanks to the wonderful hands of her sugeon and her unending determination and spirit.  May she feel better and better each day.

2. All the blessings and challenges that God has given or tested me with.  I know each one has a meaning, may I always listen and learn from both.

3. My wonderful husband, family and friends, all of you bring me happiness and support each and every day.

Thanks so much for this post!  It is my very favorite one and I look forward to this one each day.  With my limited time schedule, I am not going to be able to post like I used to, but I will commit to this one.  I feel foolish posting to the mornign post as I dont' have a clue what is going on and and don't have the time to read everyones post.  But I can do this one for sure!  So thank you for giving me a place.

Today I am thankful for.

1.  A geek coming to fix my computers this afternoon.

2.  I am thankful that I have a family who greets me everymorning with love and joy in their voices.

3.  I am greatful for the friends that are here to support and love me no matter what.

1. The Santa Cruz County fire aka The Lockheed Fire is now 50% contained
2. I have some free time to read the paper before fulfilling a few obligations
3. I have medical insurance

Today I am thankful for my Mom who is helping me so much and so thankful for this board where I can turn to when Im down and looking to be positive!

 I am so thankful for so many things.....Please bear with me while I try to narrow them down to just 3-5.....LOL...I will try.

1.  I am so thankful that God has allowed me this time in my life.  I have just finished nursing school....and have worked as a CNA while in school.  The hospital I work for kept my insurance on my while I was in school.....and the as soon as I graduated,,,,,,after a lot of prayer...I looked into WLS ...praying the entire time...God if this is your will for my life...open the doors..if it isn't...please close the doors and give me the strength to accomplish this on my own.  I was approved by BCBS in less then 24 hours.  When does that happen without God?

2.  My sister,  a school teacher that lives 3 thousand miles away was able to come and be with me after my surgery.....I am so blessed and thankful for that.....Thank you God.

3.  I am thankful that not only do I get to be able to have my surgery...but I get payed time off....again...how but God?

4.  I am so thankful for God's grace, and mercy, gentleness and kindness to me.  His mercy is renewed daily.  

5.  I am so thankful for a job that I love ....and that I know is my calling in life.  

Overall how blessed am I?

Good Sunday Morning

Today I am thankful for.....


1.  Diane is home and recooperating.

2.  I bought new mattresses yesterday.  I slept so wonderful.  I just need a step stool now to get in bed because they are huge.. HA HA  I don't care, there are no springs in my back or side.

3.  My husband is feeling good and able to do the yard work he loves doing.

4.  My dog Sam woke up with us this morning.

5.  My husband, kids, family, friends, and my OH family for much support.

6.  For this beautiful weather we are having this weekend.

Today and everyday I am thankful that we can get together here and support one another.

I am thankful that Diane is on her way to recovery.

Thankful that Barb has a job interview and hopefully that will lead to employment (and I can uncross everything).

I am thankful for good health, family and all the wonderful people here.
