Good Morning Miss Rhonda and Cali Crew!

I haven't posted much lately. Our Miss Rhonda has got me addicted to Legos, so I'm usually at her place clicking little pieces of plastic together. Hee, I do like the sense of accomplishment.
But besides that, I seem to have gotten a mild infection in one of my incisions. Its not as painful now. I went to urgent care on Sunday and they prescribed a antibiotic. I have my first follow-up with my surgeon tomorrow. I am kinda worried. I am not sure I am doing good, but no sense worrying about it.
I am moving on Sunday, I will find out if I am still on a weight restriction for lifting and bending tomorrow. I have some of my family coming up to help, but I hate packing! I hope to get most stuff moved or thrown away on Saturday. We will see! Lol.... I hope you all have a great day! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Hugs, love, & friendship,

Michelle T.

Good Morning Ms Rhonda and So Cal

Yes, today will be a terrific day, just like yesterday, a day to do nothing.  Today my back is a little sore, but all I have done is sit or lay down for almost 2 weeks.  I can noe get out of my chair by myself, I am not supposed to bend so I am not doing that, but I move around the room alone and am doing better.  I slept good last night, which made me happy, but what made me even happier, is that I didn't have to wake Doug to take me potty.   He slept right through.  When this is all over, I am taking that man away for a well deserved vacation.  He gets up at 6 for work, drives over 50 miles to work over the Cajon pass, works, drives home, get's home at 530 if he doesn't stop at the store, or 6 if he does.  Makes us dinner, and last night right after he cleaned the kitchen, he left and went to work again and got home at 10:00.  At 67 I don't know how he does it.  I cannot wait till I can cook once again, and I mean cook.  Then he can come home and pretend he is king again.

One more day closer for me to be able to take a shower.  You all don't want to know how long it has been, and I am amazed how good just a wash cloth and water work.  I want to wash my hair so bad.  I use that stuff that you just put in your hair, it does a good job, but my hair is really fluffly!!!!  Very fluffly.

I watched a special on Woodstock last night.  To think I almost went to that.  I would like to see 400,000 people get together now, and not have some sort of violence break out.  Of course everyone there was so drugged out, they were just concentrating on standing.  But it was history being made that weekend.  Those were to good old days.

Ok it's off to tend to my farms over on Facebook, play some Mafia wars and pay a few bills.  I wish a wonderful, fun peaceful blessed day for all.

Love and hugs, Diane

Good morning everyone!

I guess I'm doing a bit better than yesterday.....I was up at 10 am instead of noon

I don't know what's wrong with me these past few days, except that life, school and my to-do list has kept me going  100 mph lately and I really need some down time.  I've pushed almost everything on my calendar to next week so I can have some rest this week.  I hope I can let myself do that.

I will go for a run today, but  my exercise time is pleasure for me so I'm looking forward to moving today.  Other than that, I think I'll get some dinner in the crock pot and just relax.  Already paid some bills this morning.  In case you can't tell, I'm really having a difficult time relaxing.  Ugh!

Well, off to eat something and figure out what to do, or not do.

I hope everyone has a GREAT Tuesday!!

Morning Rhonda and Cali gang!
So great to be able to post again!  While on our little vacation to Washington, I could read all my email and the postings here; just couldn't get a signal strong enough to send out..boy is that frustrating! I will be calling AT & T to find out what that is all about :-(

Our trip to Lon's mom's 90th birthday party was a blast...36 family and extended family arrived Saturday to celebrate her life. She is an amazing woman...still works in her flower garden, cooks her own meals...lives ALONE! and likes it that way, thank you! LOL Don't even mention her living with one of her sons or taking in a room mate....she'll bite your head off! ;-)  Her view point is: "I love company to visit..but I love company to leave".... she does enjoy her 'quiet' time.

We did have a little drama starting out on our journey: made it to Weed in our motorhome to find out that we had no tail or brake lights, no dash lights and no inside the cab lights.  Long story short, we ended up turning around the next morning and going home.  Changed everything over to the car, and left that same nite for Washington, throwing our scheduling off by a day, but we worked it out and got to do everything we had planned..just moved everything by a 1/2 day.   We also got a call from the granddaughter that Lon's keys had been stolen..meaning EVERY door, cars, house, m/h...were vulnerable to theivery.  Thankfully, I was able to reach a co-worker who instantly left work and went to my house and replaced the house and garage door locks before anyone had a chance to get in.  Unfortunately, we weren't so lucky on the m/h and Lon's truck...but there wasn't anything of value in either, they just made a mess rummaging thru drawers and glove boxes.  Of course, it meant that WE didn't have house keys to get in...think granddaughter remembered to leave the key someplace so WE could get in (she works til midnight on Mondays!)...Noooooooo....took Lon almost 2 hours to figure out how to get in.  Great thing about that (and yes, I need to put a positive spin on it or I'll get pi*900d again LOL), if WE couldn't get in..NOBODY else could ROTL.  It is soooo nice to have a husband with a brain who can figure situations out; my ex was an airhead when it came to 'problems', always left things up to me to figure out :-(  And Lon also dealt with his granddaughter and her 'I didn't think about you guys coming home' attitude.  I would have just killed her LOL

Today is back to work....routine, know-what-is-coming kind of day and so thankful for it.  Will spend more time catching up here with everyone's activities and finding out how Diane is doing...happy to hear she is home. And I did see a new avatar for Jean..all I can say is: WOW! Looking good Lady!  Also that Linda is going in for the 'seventh inning stretch'...I so pray that this one works! Oh! and good luck to MoMo on your surgery Thursday.  Hope you took pixs of the lizard! LOL

Well, more later as I get caught up...sure feels good to be home and in touch with friends again.

Not much for me today. I faxed my Resume off to San Fransisco and we will see what if anything they have to offer. My medication might be a problem...I couldn't pass a drug test to save my live and I told them as much last night when the Grand President called me.
Tomorrow is my surgaiversary and I have my one year follow up in Modesto, then it is to Sears to pick up our new freezer and to Costco to fill it.LOL Then Thursday it is my first appointment with the new shrink...should be interesting...just hope she doesn't try changing my meds like a couple of them have done.
Well, got to run to the nursery for ant spray they are trying to take over my garden and I can't have that!!

Later
