TGIF California! Good Morning!

Morning California

Today I'm feeling energized and it's a good thing.  I'm going for a run, cleaning house and doing laundry.  I may even clean out my pantry.  I really NEED to do this since I have no doubt I'm going to find a month's work of meals in there and that will really save on the grocery bill.

Tomorrow I'll finish cleaning my dad's things out of storage finally.  Wow, it's been a long process.  Still no home movies or Apollo mission films, so keep your fingers crossed.

Stephanie and Lu, I hope you have a great time together and there will be lots of pictures (for bribery's sake and all)

Rhonda, have fun at tonight's dinner.  One of these times we're going to drive out there for one of the meetings.  I really want to meet everyone.

Maureen, relax and take good care of yourself.

Thank you for reminding us all of Linda's surgery today, Julia.  Did I mention how grateful I am to you?  And how is your daughter doing?

Linda, I'm praying all goes well today and this will fix the problem for good.

We're in the proicess of moving my Mother out of the house she's lived in for over 50 years, and we're finding some treasured reminders of my Dad (who passed a couple of years ago), so I know how important they can be--I hope you find yours.

Crystal is doing great--she's in the semi-soft stage and really enjoying scrambled eggs, etc.

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali,

I don't have much planned for the weekend.  Would like to get my house in order which is a job in itself.  I do plan to go to Office depot for their teacher appreciation day tomorrow.  Love the free goodies.  Had fun in the chat room last night.  It has been forever since I was there.  I think it needs to happen on a more regular basis.  Its a great way to chat, catch up and provide support.

Happy Friday..not to much on my agenda for the day - just need to make some dips for my nephews 30th birthday party that is tomorrow and make a run to the bank.

Rhonda - did you get the package I sent you?

Lu - if it is Vegas you are going to could youplease make a stop at Harrahs and get some of my money back...I left alot there with them.

Linda - you are definitely in my thoughts and prayers today and I will be waiting to hear that they finallyput that stent in and you will be on the road to normal eating again.

LB coffee is coming up soon and I can't wait....just around the corner kids...a week from tomorrow.  Hope to see lots of youthere.

Diane - I miss you girl...I need to give you a call I  promise.  I have just been so busy lately but there is alot I need to tell you....

Anyway time togo read my papers and get the day started.  I have some flowers I need to plant this morning - you know out with the ugly and in with the new and pretty.

I hope to be more present here as I will have a little more free time....I miss you all and think about you lots.

not to much going on today just getting my back adjusted and picking up my daugther..
i've tried to change my advatar but my pic is to big and i can't figure out how to resize it.. my bf will help me later..
this weekend brings laundry and she's what my daugther has for clothes and socks .. damn sock ... don't wair them all summer and now we need them..
i wanted to thank everyone one for your continued support..keep your fingers crossed i should be finding out about the house today..

Good morning Cali,

Today I get to go home .  I am done here for now there is some residual work to be done but it can be done from home.  I am home for a week and then off with the DH, Vanessa and my mom to Tacoma.  Should be fun.  It will be Vanessa's first long car trip.  She is used to going to So Cal to visit my family this is twice as far!

No mention of No Cali lunch tomorrow :-(  Sure hope you can make it!  I just returned from WA last weekend...talk about screwy weather!  Take clothes for Winter AND Summer!  LOL  You know how it can rain today and be 80 tomorrow ^_^  Also, they are doing alot of road construction on 5...and some bridge building and there are always a bazillion truckers on the road!  But I'd go again in a heart beat...I just love the Pacific Northwest ^_^  Take lots of hand games for Vanessa and she'll do fine ;-)

Good Morning Rhonda and California,

Ah the back to school dance.  I remember it well.  I don't miss it at all.  I like kids, but I got done with all that a few years back and really don't miss it.  More power to you for still being able to handle that.  I know I certainly couldn't.

Well 3PM today I am out of here and tomorrow at 8AM Lu and I are FINALLY off to Vegas.  Oh yea, I'm excited.  Need to make a Wally run before I head home.  Then get myself all packed up and I'm good to go.  I know I'll bring more clothes then I need to bring.  I always do, but I'm never sure exactly what I'm going to want to wear.  Just need to be sure to pack my swim suit.  That is a must.

OK, so I guess I need to get to work here so that hopefully this day will seem to pass quicker. See you tonight at dinner Rhonda.  Mike and I will be there.  Might venture over to Karaoke for a little bit after if the group is going.  Just can't stay too late.

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali Friends,

Happy First day of school for you Mom!  LOL  I know it's nice to get back into the routine again.  Thanks for the prayers for the interview, I'm feeling good.

Yesterday I went to a new hair stylist for a new cut and color and WOW she got it spot on.  I had seen a gal at our EU group and went up to her and told her I LOVED her haircut/color and she gave me the name of her stylist.  Her stylist was busy but there was another gal there who fit me in and got all the info on the haircut and color from the other stylist and she did a FANTASTIC job.  It's the first time in a gazillion years I like everything about it. A whole new look for me.  In fact, I went to band last night (1st rehearsal back) and I don't think half of them recognized me.  My tenor sax partner of about 10 years (I am old enough to be his Mom) came up to me and said "You're looking great."  Ok, I melted!  LOL  Love that kid!

So today brings the interview at 3pm and then we're going over to our friend Steve's for dinner and dominoes, where I am going to kick some major men's bootay!  LOL  Can you tell I am confident today LOL

This weekend, NOR CAL luncheon, WHOO HOO.  Can't wait, fun as always. 

Hope everyone has a great weekend and please keep Linda in your prayers today.  She's just got to get feeling better.
