Just stopping by to give you a big cyber {{{HUG}}} and 'give em hell' shout out for the interview today.  Ok, don't give them hell...but you will blow out all other competition for the job!  You can tell us all about it tomorrow...and I want all the grisly details LOL   And may I also kindly 'suggest' that you get that photogenius of a husband busy getting you a new avatar??  You don't want me sicking the Nag Queen on you, do you???  So far she has been 3 for 3 in getting updates...she is awesome, you know.

Hi Rhonda and Cali Crew,

Stephanie and Lu, have a great time in Vegas.  For the best odds on slot machines, go to Fremont Street. The Strip is horrible. The casinos on that street don't have to pay big giant loans off like the hotels on the strip.  Plus, Fremont Street is fun at night with the block long light show.

I have a weekend with my husband in San Francisco planned. I was at a Chamber of Commerce dinner and several hotel stays were part of the silent auction. I managed to snag one at the W for only $60!! Woo hoo! My biggest challenge will be not to indulge in all the fatty sugary things I am used to indulging in when I am in San Franciso. I hope I will still have fun.

Today I can honestly say with conviction TGIF!  This week, if not the whole month, has been trial and tribulation week.  Guess it's the price I pay for having so much fun in Washington last weekend.

Took the m/h back to Aamco so they can find the short that caused no tail, brake, dash or overhead lights last weekend. Need the rig back up to snuff by next Thursday as we have another carving weekend get away planned.  Tomorrow is No Cali lunch which I always enjoy, then Lon and I will take a side trip up to our 1000 Trails park to close up the 5th wheel for the summer. Not sure when we'll make it back up so best to close it down in case weather turns messy sooner than expected.  The news was reporting a fire that burned over 3600 acres just down the road from the park...that was scary as we have no way to pull the rig out.  I know, sounds crazy..have a 5th wheel but no truck to pull it..but we bought it with the idea of leaving it up at the park..eventually retiring to it someday.  Fortunately, the local fire dept and CCF were able to contain it fully by yesterday.

Sunday is a special day at church as a good friend is rededicating her life to Christ, thru baptisim after church service.  She's had a tuff year and I am so proud of her..she as fought her way out of depression and come out a stronger person.  After church, may go for scooter ride or stay home and tackle cleaning out the garage.  Who knows what I'll find in there...a whole bunch of junk or fabulous treasures I can sell on ebay

Oh Shoot! I forgot the names (dumb burned out gray cells!) but to our Vegas travelers...drive safe, have a blast and take a bazillion pictures!

And to all the Moms and Dads on the Board..Congratulations!  Your survived another summer!!  Now the kids can drive the teachers crazy

Yep, here's a teacher getting ready to start up a new year...thanks to all you parents for taking them off our hands for the summer, and now it's time to get back to them again!

I start on Monday, and kids come back on wednesday.... eager to see how the budget crisis is going to actually impact us...there was talk of a two day unpaid "furlough", but don't know for sure, and don't know how that would look...

I've got a guy here mudding and taping drywall all day... painter coming tomorrow to spray coat the 'knock down' texture... colors get painted on Sunday....God bless him for working the weekend to make this work for me... Monday, in the afternoon, all the things get "set" into place... toilet, vanity, sinks, towel racks... and we'll be up and running tuesday morning!

I'm not doing anything "out of the box" today, but.... i'm thinking of doing something next summer... thinking of traveling the USA in a motorhome for a few weeks.... anyone want to go, too? you have a year to think and plan!  I'll be able to stop by all of the coffees and dinners and get togethers up and down the state, too! Whooo hooo!

I am going shopping tonight and this weekend.  I won't say for what, because I don't want to jinx myself. 
Today at work we are having a luau party.  I brought fruit: Tropical Mix, cantelope and mangos.  Very healthy... now add in some alcohol and it might be so healthy.  Alcohol comes from wheat...right?  Alright then, alcohol is healthy!  LOL

Good Afternoon Rhonda and Cali Crew,

I am so late today! I have been busy packing. I hope to be all moved out by Sunday. My mom is coming up to help along with my brother. They will be here the weekend. My front room looks so much like the I Love Lucy episode where they are moving and have to move to Fred and Ethels and the front room is full of boxes! I love that episode!
I will be saying special prayers for all that need them and keeping people in my special intentions prayers. Tonight brings the High Desert Dinner, then its back to packing. By the time I get home, General Mom will be here and there won't be any stopping her! I wouldn't be surprised if she had the toilet paper packed and we still have 2 more days! Lol...
I hope everyone has a wonderful evening. I will try to post earlier tomorrow, but we shall see. Wish me luck!
