Update on stricture

Still NO STENT!  Turns out that my ulcer is huge which is now blocking the way.  Dr. Lee said the opening is still open, but he said that I have 1/2 moon ulcer this causing all the problems.  He called over to Dr. Chin's office to explain what he found.  He is pretty sure that surgery may be the only option.  He said they may have to make make a new hole (stomach outlet) to start over clean...and ulcer free.

Sorry to hear that surgery may be the only option, but I will continue prayer for you!!!  You have been through so much...you poor thing.

Good Gosh hon, what a pain in the rear this has got to be for you.  I am so sorry that this is all too much for anyone to put up with.  I will pray that everything starts to turn around for you.

I'm so sorry to hear this . . . but omg you have been through the mill with all the problems . . . I sure hope they get it sorted out and you can start feeling like you should be!

I just feel for you that you have to endure this.  But at least they know what is going on and it sounds like they have a plan albeit surgery.  I hope this will be resolved sooner than later. Continued prayers coming your way.

Oh no, Linda--I am so sorry to hear that!  Haven't they had you on ulcer meds?  I know another surgery is the last thing you'd want, but a clean start sounds like a good idea.  Was the doctor able to give you any relief at all, or is water still the only thing you can keep down?  If so, are they going to get you scheduled for surgery ASAP?
