On the road again, can't wait to get on the road, making music with my friends........la la la la la..

Yah the day is FINELY here. In about 2 hours I am heading out the door, grabing Stephie, then we are OUT OF HERE!! We planed this so long ago, it seemed like this day would never get here, but it did. I am packed and ready to go. I have one small bag with my stuff and a bag with some water in it for on the road and up in the room.

Stephie texted me last night that she was ready, just think, if we had took off right then, we would be there by now, and we would either be out like a light, if we where able to get a room, or we would be walking around with a ice pack for our elbows. LOL OR........OR we would be on the lear jet, heading anywhere because we can with ALL the money we won. ROTFLMAO!!!!!!

OK time for you all to tell us what you have planed? What does the fine weekend of in store for you?

I have been out of the loop so not sure where your headed but I send you traveling grace and a fabulous time.

As for us this weekend, headed to Office Depot for teacher appreciation day, hit the grocery store, buy lotto tix and chill.

Hey Lu - did you get my note asking you to bring back some of my money I left at Harrahs?  I know you guys will  have a blast...I am jealous even though I was just there a couple of weeks ago...I love Vegas but can not afford to go but once a year.

Today for me is busy - have to get ready for my nephews 30th birthday party this evening - in fact I have to get busy making the dips I should have made last night but didn't cause I was to tored and fell asleep early.

I did have a wow moment yesterday - I went to do some retail therapy (yes shopping) and was at New York & Co browsing the clearance racks...well there were some really cute cotton capris 60% off so I try on a 10 and they are huge - I take in the 8 and they are a little roomy too...so - are you ready for this....I try on the size 6 and they fit perfect.  OMG - ME IN A SIZE 6 - that is not possible....(ok so they run big but who cares....I have a size 6 pants on my ass)....so of course I had to buy them....also bought some jeans since they are buy one get one free - and no the jeans are no way a size 6.....but a 12 petite - the 10's were perfect but way to long so with the 12 being a petite they are smaller and shorter.  Anyway - I can now officially say I have a size 6 pr of  pants....I have a bunch of 8's and 10's.  I will be clearing out the size 12 jeans in my closet soon as I am sure they will be to big....

Anyway sorry toramble just had to throw that out there...I mean from where I started at a size 26/28 stretch pull on pants and 3x tops to size 8/10 and size Medium tops it has been quite the ride....and all in only 2 yrs....of which I just realized my 2  yr surgiversary was 2 days ago...OMG where does the time go.

Ok gotta get busy and do my chores

Jean you are such an inspiration!  I share in your joy of the Wow moment of getting into a size 6!!  That is fantastic!
I started out in the same size you did, and can't even imagine getting into a size 10 pants, I'm now in 16's and can't even remember the last time I wore that size......guess maybe jr. high......??  So to see how much you've lost and where you are today and to think that I too may some day reach that goal is unimagineable!!
I've been stalled in weight for nearly a month now, and it's discouraging.  I'm so anxious to see the scale move again and always wonder if I'm doing something wrong.

Hope to see some of you at LB coffee next Sat.  I need some new clothes.  :-)

As for today............... guess it's time to clean house and play catch up on bills since I just returned from vacation, where I reached my first goal of flying without using a seat belt extender.  Even had extra belt left, and fit comfortably in the seat.  What a difference!  I actually felt normal!!  Seeing my sister for the first time since my surgery, she couldn't believe how good I was doing, and how good I looked.  My niece didn't even recognize me until I talked!

Wow Jean...what a journey you have accomplished....such a testament to this wonderful tool we have been given.  You give me hope that I too can reach my goal.  Thank you for sharing your journey with us...I learn so much ^_^

Morning Lu and Cali!  Have a great trip . . . drive SAFe . . . and enjoy!

I'm doing my morning WalMart run with my friend . . .and then it is Costco work all weekend . . . but since I haven't worked for 2 weekends - it is a necessity for SURE!

Tonight is laundry . . . and start packing for the 3Day  . . . everything has to be in 2 gallon ziplocks in case it rains and stuff get wet . . . don't want a wet bunch of clothes getting moldy . . . ewwww . . . This week has been so laid back with a quiet house.  My cats are coming back in . . . we are slowly straightening things up the way we want them . . .(my daughter and me) . . . but at least my kids are up in Monterey and so far, so good . . . this was needed by all of us!

Have a good one . . . gotta dry my hair . . . should take at least 5 minutes!

Good morning Cali,

Well I do not know what is going on but for a week I have not been sleeping well.  Maybe thinking too much about DH being out of work for a year now!  Things are tough out there. 

I have lots to do this weekend, have to get the spare room cleaned out so it is ready for my Mom when she gets here on Thursday.  I have been using the bed as a closet since I have been cleaning out all of my larger sizes. 

I had a mini wow yesterday-went shopping and bought me some size ten pants, I have been getting 12s and they are getting big on the waist and gaping.  I never thought I would be a 10 again.  I was a 10 when I graduated high school!
