~~Daily Thanksgivings~~
Celebrate your success and find humor in your failures. Don’t take yourself so seriously. Loosen up and everyone around you will loosen up. Have fun and always show enthusiasm. When all else fails, put on a costume and sing a silly song.

Good Saturday Morning Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?
Today I am thankful for...
1. Waking up to a beautiful day this morning, birds singing, clear skies, comfortable weather.
2. For an interview that went very well yesterday.
3. For the Nor Cal luncheon today, can't wait to see everyone.
OK your turn, what are you thankful for today?
1. Friends, you cannot forget them, especially when there are so many and they make you feel so loved.
2. Waking this morning
3. I would be really thankful, if Dale Jr won the race today.
Thanks for keeping this post going....hoping to see pictures from last nites dinner in the High Desert soon.
Love, Diane
Thank you Barb for this lovely post and quote.
I am Thankful for...
1. That my Family and my 89 year old Mother, came from back East to my daughters Wedding in San Diego.
2. My OH Family, that I can't wait to read the posts that I have missed.
3. Our Heavenly Father, who never gives up on us. He does provide.
4. For my wonderful Husband who keeps me grounded.
I'm a little prone to grumbling this afternoon... I feel tired, and my eyes are sore (i have really bad vision, and macular degeneration in one eye to top it all off!)....my bathroom remodel is taking forever, and I kind of have felt a prisoner in my own home for the past seven weeks... I'm bummed about having to go back to work next week, before things are really settled in my home....
BUT....
I choose to be thankful,
~that I still have enough eyesight to function!
~that I have a home to be a prisoner in!
~that I have a job to go back to!! and one that I enjoy 97%, too!
~that I had enough money to even make these home improvements!
~that I will soon have a completed master suite (now, if only I had a "master" to share it with, LOL...but, no, i'm being thankful here)
~for the great cup of java that I'm savoring
~that my family is a close and loving one, and that my dad is still with us
~For God's great love...
~for great friends, both online and in "real life"
~for RNY, to put be back in a healthier place, and allowing me to make the daily choices of eating well or not...
~for my two doggies, and their patience in being cooped up during the remodeling weeks...
... OK! I've shaken the blues...
"count your blessings, name them one by one...
and it will surprise you what the Lord has done..."
love you all

1) I am very thankful for the 2 hours of sleep I got this morning, I have developed a bad case of insomnia

2) I am very thankful for coming home from a 4 year old birthday party and having such a great time with plenty of laughs watching the kids play.
3) I am thankful for my boys and husband, as bad as they sometimes are, they are truly a blessing in my life.
4) last but certain not least, I am hugely grateful that Our Heavenly Father has put me in this place I am in to have surgery to extend and make my life so much more livable. I am so looking forward to my appt. with Dr. Koura on Thursday. Hopefully soon after that, surgery will be attainable for me, so I can begin to live my life to the fullest.
Thank you again for all your wonderful posts, makes me even more thankful that I found this site, even if it is just silent support from me reading all of what you all have posted. Truly an inspiration from you all !
Thank You!!!
Barb,
Getting a little bit of a late start tonight getting my Thanksgiving in. I am pooped I had to work all day today (this I am very thankful for).
Today I am Thankful for...
1. My body holding up for a long day of work and not falling apart and leaving parts on the floor only for me to clean up later.
2. Fingers that are able to type even after a long days work.
3. That I have a bed to sleep in tonight when others do not.
Thanks for listening.
