Old timer finally gets surgery 9/9/9

Gail, congrats to you. Yes, this has been a long haul for you....please keep me posted....

We still have a date to get together after I recover a bit.

Gail, great to see your smiling face, and great to hear about your upcoming surgery!

I did some checking on the "nine" thing, being as you are 9/9/9 for surgery....

Here was some interesting stuff on the Hebrew word for "nine"..... and some other things as well...

I like the idea of it as being a completion of the single digits, and a new time is beginning... may it be so with you!!

Thanks Dear, I think I read somewhere that this is the last time for over a thousand years the the date will be single digits!. Also hopefully, it is the opposite of it's scary upside down self. LOL

YES... it's the positve of it's scary upside down self!

I'm not a huge believer in numerology, however, there are some things about numbers that are interesting, huh?

Congratulations!!  I know that you have been through many obstacles, yet you persevered! I don't post much anymore and just happened to check the board today.  I hope you have smooth sailing from this day forward. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.  Do you have an Angel to post for you after surgery? I will be sure to check the board on the 9th. I am SO very happy for you!

Susan, I can tell by your photo that surgery has been a real success for you. You look so happy and healthy! Yes, I have an angel. I will ask her to post on both boards. Judy "had-enuf" will check on me.

I'm right behind you girl! My surgery is not until 11 am on the 10th, so I don't have to be there until 9 am. I will do my best to come and see you first. (Although you will probably be out of it. ) Maybe while we are both patients, we can walk together...LOL! My hubby will be with me; do you have someone going with you? (I'm sure you do....I hope.)
Sorry to hear of your health; I know my kidneys are suffering. I need to get rid of a UTI before surgery too. Antibiotics start today, for 2 weeks.
I think we are both in the "get everything done" mode. My nerves have already started though.   
Oh, it's hard sending your baby to college. Is it far away?

We beat Kaiser!!!! Yeah!!!! 

I love the fact that we are doing this together. My sis and best friend will be with me. You have a date for a hallway walk. My nerves are pretty jumpy-I am too emotional and losing my daughter to the east coast until Christmas is going to be very tearful! She is going to a small, old school in PA called Lafayette College. Her dad's school. I had to wait til she left for surgery.

Gail, your big day is almost here, and I'm so happy for you. You fought so hard to get here, and you deserve nothing but success, good health and happiness with your DS.
