Good Morning Julia and Cali Crew!

Sounds like a lot of you had a busy weekend. I know I did. I was moving all weekend. Ugh! lol... My family was very thoughtful about my lifting ( when I went to my doctor follow-up, he kept me on my weight restriction for another 2 weeks!). So I did nothing but see the inside of a u-haul and cleaning this weekend. But it seems we are 90% done! Just have to return cable boxes and make sure they take utilities out of my name. Some final scrubbing and that is all she wrote! Then off to the new place to unpack. whoopee. Sorry if I sound a little tired, but I am so wiped out.
Barb, I just love your new avatar! You look so beautiful! It is stunning! I am jealous, all the NorCal peeps got to see you on Saturday and I am still down here waiting to meet you plus Rhonda has seen you twice so far! No fair!
Diane, I am glad you are going to the LB coffee. I hope you will be ok. I am hitching a ride with Heather, as Rhonda is working. Maybe we can get lunch afterwards, depending on how you feel.
I am keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers. I may not be on for a couple of days. My new place has DSL and I have to figure out how to set that up as I had wireless in my old place.

Back to work and one more week for back to school for my daughter. I told her enjoy your last week of no homework.. She is back to reading though..can't lapse too much.

Can't believe it's time for LB Coffee again.. And our Diane will be there.. who could miss it now? So nice to hear you will be on an adventure Saturday, hope your car ride is kind to you..

Im here at work, but probably only going to make it 1/2 a day.  My leg is already swollen and paining me a bit.

I have too much paper to move!  We took Jayden home last night so he could start his 1st day of 1st grade!  Momma told him he couldn't ride the bus today as she had to take him to school, help him find his class room and all that garbage.  He looked at her, then at dad and rolled his eyes.  He then told her..........fine, but you gotta leave the camera at home as it's embarassing!"  Oh, my...........our little bug has all growed up!

I sent him home with 3 new pair of pants, a sweatshirt, 4 new shirts, 3 old shirts that fit but needed more wear time, a pack of undies, a pack of socks, 2 new pair of shoes and some school supplies.  The dude is ready.

Off and running I go.  Headed to Oroville this afternoon to take my MIL out to dinner.  It's her birthday!

Good Morning everyone! I know it is late morning but I get up and take the older boys to High School and Elementary. Then I come back and get my pre-schooler ready and get him ready to take him to school. Now I am tidying up the house a little because after the weekend it is left like a tornado hit it! lol! I am filling out my history information forms to send out to one of the doctors. I am still debating but I think I am going to try Dr. LaMar as Deehoney suggested.

Hey just because it's later in the morning, no need for excuses, sometimes I don't even get here till afternoon.  Glad to see you posting, and welcome to you.  I think you will like Dr Lamar too.

You will know if he is the one or not, you will get a good  feeling, if you don't then try to find someone who makes you comfortable but I don't think you will have any problems with him.

Hi mom! Good morning cali! .....Though it's afternoon. I guess I ought to be on OH more. I've been doing good. Today is my 4 week mark after surgery,... but I'll count my month on the 27th. I've lost 22 lbs and I'm feeling and doing great. Soft/pureed foods make life a lot easier and more fun when I go out, so I'm really happy to be on them. I haven't dumped or thrown up even once yet, so I'm really happy about  that especially. It is much easier than I expected it to be, but with my tiny tummy I just don't have the same hungry feelings anymore. Mentally it's a little different, but I'm getting used to that too.
All the glue is off of my incisions now. I've got 6 nce pink lines on my tummy and then one little incision that has a bandaid on it because its scab came of and it's a little drainy. I couldn't have hoped for much better overall. None of the things I was dreading might happen have and I am really excited about the future.

Thanks everyone for your support through this process. I wouldn't have done nearly as well without you guys. I can't wait to see everyone at LB coffee this Saturday. bye!
