Good Morning Calif...........

Well, Stephie and I made it home safe and sound. We had a great time. The weather was great, even though it rained both Saturday and Sunday, that did not slow us down. LOL. The room was wonderful, and both Stephie and I was thinking hard about how we could steal the bed, sheets, pillow cases, and the bed speads. OMG!!!!!! they where great! We both slept in both morning, and that was wonderful for us. Sunday we did try hanging out at the pool, so we got maybe 2 hours, before the sky's opened up on us. We got more wet from the rain, then we did after getting in the pool. Which was wonderfully warm, but not overly so.

We also hit Freemont St. Parked at Golden Nuget. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! You would NOT believe how great that hotel is. They have this HUGH fish tank. I am talkin about 1000 gals. That is right in the center of their pool, with a slide going through it. That place was amazing, I think the next time I go to vages, I might stay there. And If I need to see the stripe, I will drive there.

Over all, the weekend was wonderful.

I am glad you had fun in Vegas.  I swear, I am going in the next year sometime.  I will just have to save my pennies.

Here I am at work wishing I was home again.  I am still not feeling well.  In fact, it is a little worse today.  Coughing up yuck and all.  Geesh....I wish I had sick time at this stupid job.  I would so be back home in bed resting but alas...I am here.  I will tough it out until 1:30 and then I am flying out the door.  That is the only thing good about starting at 5:00 am.  I get off early.  The morning flies by but after 11:00 the day drags.  Just pray for me today.  I feel like crappola. 

Gonna just sit here and drink some coffee and try and move some trucks today.  Have a great day everyone!!

Morning Lu and Cali!  So glad you had a great time in Vegas . . . how FUN!  I was supposed to go at Christmas with my friend, but since we are doing Alaska in May, we both decided it will have to wait for another time . . . at least on my end!

Got pictures of my kid's house up in the Monterey area . . . they are happy . . . it is old . .. but oh may the light!  So far, so good . . . yea!

Well I overslept - never did set my alarm last night - and I bearly had time to do my farming this morning . . . schish .. . can we say transfer addiction?  It's a good thing . . .but my computer keeps locking up . . . oh well .. .

Good morning Lu and Cali,

I am really starting to get excited about our road trip.  I have washed all of Ms V's and my clothes and have packed mine.  Just need to do hers now.  DH is on his own!  My mom is getting excited too, we decided to leave Thursday instead of Friday.  She flu's in at 9 and we will leave after lunch.  Should make it to Oregon in decent time to go to bed and sleep well.

I have rally started to see the weigh come off again.  I was getting a little scared it had slowed or was non existent for a month.  The first month was good, then the stall.  I know I should not worry it all takes time.  But the surgeon told me the closer you are to a normal BMI the slower the weight would come off.  He was so right!  I have my 3 month appointment tomorrow.  lets see how that goes.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

So glad to hear you and Steph had a great time in Las Vegas, I haven't been there in quite a while but the last time we went, we lost money so fast ($50.00, I'm a cheap gambler) that we spent the rest of doing the touristy stuff and seeing Mystere... Awesome!  I want to see the Beatles one next.

Today brings my interview with AAA in SF.  They will be moving the corporate office to a brand new building in Walnut Creek in the next month so the commute would be wonderful.  Yesterday I received a call from the hospital I interviewed with on Friday.  I am one of 2 being called back for a 2nd interview with their CEO, CFO and Administrator on Sept. 2nd.  I am so grateful to have the opportunity for either job as both are great.  So we'll see what God has planned for me.

That's about it for today.  Stay tuned for the "Hopefully Barb is On Her Way to Landing a Job" show!  LOL

Thanks so very much.  The interview today went well too.  I feel like I will be called back on the one today as well.  Each job brings it's own challenges so I will just take it a day at a time and see where it leads.
