Good Afternoon Cali Friends,

I know I have been MIA lately. I have been so FREAKIN busy! Fall semester started last week & my life is crazy right now! All I ever do is work, school, drive, sleep & work! Then to top it off, I have had company, the last couple days, so when I do have free time, it goes to spending it with them. I hope everyone has a great day! I can't believe how freakin HOT it is! Someone, please shut the door & turn on the air! LOL

Have a great Thursday!

Well, I have been MIA for a few days...I have to get new eye glasses. The ones I have no longer fit and I am always having to crane my neck to see the computer which in turn throws my neck out of wack!!! So the first of the month it is new glass for me!!.
Chris and Barb love both of the new avatars! I know I am dpast due to get a new one up!
I don't know what is going on with me but I have wanted to wear dresses alot lately...this is something very new for me!! So, I am making another one today. It is really going to be a cute wrap around I guess it will will use it for my new avatar if it turns out like I hope.

Later everyone, have a great day.

Afternoon Chris (great avatar!) and Cali gang ^_^

finally get to take a few minutes from working to jump in here and say HI to everyone...only got 30 minutes to go before I head for home.  Today has been 1 big run here, run there, run back here....and somehow between payroll, bank reconciliations and answering 'boss' questions, I'm suppose to have July books reconciled by tomorrow...yeah, right.  And to boot, it was ME who set the deadline!! Dumb dumb Dumb!!!  I should have said Monday..or even Tuesday....gotta stop being this people-pleaser! I cause my own stress :-(

Good news is the m/h lights are fixed and I will leave for the foothills as soon as I can slip away from work tomorrow.  Of course, that means tonight I get to clean and repack the rig so Lon can leave early afternoon to beat the traffic.  I'll follow in the car and get there in time for dinner.  This campout will be bittersweet in a way; the gal who was suppose to be our 'wagonmaster' suddenly died last month...caught us all off guard...never saw it coming :-(  So we will spend some time celebrating her life (she was an amazing chip carver) and sharing stories of our time with her.  She will dearly be missed but I won't be surprized if we see her spirit walking at dusk thru the grounds...she absolutely loved the park (Sons of Norway in Alt)we are going to...in fact, she was staying in her rig at the park when she passed.    What I love about this carving group...we celebrate life...we don't dwell on the sadness...we laugh and remember all of the good times.  Almost all of the group are retired...so average age is 70-75...or older.  I'm considered the 'baby' at 59..and still working LOL  I'm teased quite a bit that I'm 'accepted' cus Lon is 71 and retired...kinda like living in a 55+ 'senior' park LOL

Well, time is up and I get to scadaddle outta here. Hope everyone had a great day.  Monica...I'll be putting in extra prayers for your surgery tomorrow...Michelle T, again, I hope you find peace and comfort regarding your friends passing....Steph...you will also be in my prayers....haven't figured out what your 'procedure' is (I'm kinda slow sometimes LOL) but it doesn't sound exactly like fun...Diane...hope the staples coming out did the trick with your back.  To everyone else...I can't remember!!  But I love ya all!!
Hugs
