Today I am thankful for...

1.  Helping my mother-in-law prepare to get my father-in-law home in a couple of weeks.  We sure did accomplish a lot in her house yesterday.

2.  The love and support of my friends on OH and my family.  Incredible I say!!

3.  For having my RNY.

That I will be able to say good-bye to a very close friend, as they don't expect her to survive through the day.

that I woke up this morning after a horrible night.

I'm so sorry you are about to lose a good friend.  Hopefully, you were able to spend some time with her and say what needed to be said.  Please be comforted by the fact she will be in a much better place and she is out of suffering and pain. If only it was as easy for those left behind...I pray you find peace of mind thru prayer.

My husband who keeps me grounded and is so supportive.

That I can spend the day with my grandkids.

For my life in general.

I like the Jordan quote. I've turned around too many times!!

Today I am thankful for;

1. The weekend is close by
2. I am not overly busy today at work
3. I have a business lunch meeting that's at a restaurant that has truly healthy food that goes well with RNY.

I am also nervous about a conversation I am going to have with my mom about me going out of town overnight sometime next month. She's going through chemotherapy and doesn't want me to go out of town for any length of time.  She has friends and her niece in town that are all willing to help her, but she really only wants me to help.  Hopefully I don't walk away with huge feelings of guilt.

1. My husband who puts up with me and my I-Pod singing around the house.

2. For my friend who got me into doing Sussical the Musical for the next two months. We are in the
chorus and are playing Mrs. Grinch.LOL!!! Reminds me of High School.

3. For the Heavenly Father above who guides me to where I am suppose to be.

1. our m/h is fixed and we can leave tomorrow for our carving weekend...Yeahhh!

2. that I am getting better at 'letting go, letting God' handle the bumps in the road....not perfect yet...but then, perfect is boreing LOL

3.  that I still make my husband laugh....his smile is to die for ^_^

4.  That I am not alone in my life.

5.  That I have a dog that is incredible and has the capability to offer therapy to children who need him.

6.  I am thankful for the wonderful support I am given on a daily basis from those I have met on this board.
