TGIF California What's up for the Weekend.

Thank Goodness Friday has finaly arrived.  I have had suc busy week.  I have spent the first 4 days of this week working at the Marsh restoring it to it's native state.  This project is going to take 3-4 years to complete, but we have already made a dent into it.   I tell you this is hard work.  I took students on hikes for 2 hours in sand.  I had two groups a day.  So lets say my muscles ache and it was super duper hot but it was great!  Today is office work and that is nice I look forward to sitting in air conditioning today and not out in the hot sun. 

What is everyone's plans for this beautiful weekend?  I hope something fun.  Me I am teaching the last two classes in parenting in an 8 week session.  I am glad this sessions is over, it has been a very long class.

Sunday I think I am just going to pass out and die.  I don't know for sure but I think that is what is going to happen. 

I have not had a lot of time on the boards, so I don't know what all is going on.  I am going to try and catch up though.

Monica, my thoughts and prayers are with you today as you are having surgery.  I wish you the best and I know it is going to go well for you.

Diane,  So glad you are going to the coffee to show off your new boob lift/back brace.  Wish I could be there.

Michelle,  Hang in there.  Things have a way of working themselfs out.  You got a lot on your plate take care of you.  Thanks for keeping me updated on what is happening on the boards or I would be so lost.

MOMO,  what is going on with you?  It feels like I have not spoken to you in 40 years or something.  Becky likes apricot, me Strawberry.  Got the flowers and they really made me smile.   Passed on the hugs too.

Chris,  I hope you are enjoying your quiet evenings, One day in like 18 years I think I will get to know what that feels like.  lol

Jackie, sounds like you are doing well your avatar is adorable.

Jean,  Sorry I can't get to the coffee but the one in September for sure, count me in.

Stephanie and LU,  Glad to hear you girls had a great time in Vegas.  Lu you needed to get out of Dodge you have been working way to hard, gotta tell me did stephanie stinky up the car on the wya there, hell that girl sat in the sun for a week waiting for you!   By the way how is DD doing?

My prayers go out to all of you as there is so much going these days for everyone.  If I missed you it is because I am exausted not that I don't love and care about you.  My mind has been mush lately.

OMG woman . . . I do NOT envy you your job . . . I don't do heat . . . I can't even IMAGINE what it has been for you outside this past week! Kudos to you!  Enjoy the air conditioning today!

I'm just working at Costco for the weekend . . . but 2 weeks from exactly RIGHT NOW I'll be at Opening Ceremonies for the 3 Day . . . where has the time gone?  I am getting excited about that . .. and starting to look at this little bag I have and wonder how I'll get enough stuff in it - BESIDES my sleeping bag with a 35 lb limit . . . but I'll make it work!

Have a great weekend . . . hope it cools down some . . . my house is still like an oven . . . even this early in the morning.

Wish I could do the coffee tomorrow . .. maybe one of these days!

Good thing I love the outdoors huh?   2 weeks, already I can't believe it.  We will have to have a big party to celebrate your walk upon your return.  Maybe a kaokie night?  (i can't spell).  HOpe you get something fun at Costco this weekend to give away to us shoppers.  Have a super weekend.

Not to much for me this weekend other than LB Coffee tomorrow which is the total highlight of my month...I love that 2 or 3 hours with everyone.  Then Sunday I think is nothing much...but I feel like I am supposed to be doing something but I can't remember...hmmm, blonde moment, better check the calendar.

Yesterday was spent in Torrance with my BFF and we spent the entire day waking the Del Amo Mall (its huge) and doing alot of retail therapy....and plus being out of the heat was great.  Today is cleaning day (not me the house keeper) then lunch with a friend and meeting up with other friends later this afternoon....all in air conditioned places for sure.

Rhonda please take care of yourself and don't get run down....

Jandell - You too lady...I will be  praying for you but with Dr Lee doing your surgery I know first hand you are in good hands...

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali Crew,

I feel like I am melting here in the high desert. Its so hot.  I feel my asthma acting up today, due to the poor air quality from the fires, here in So Cal. Just another thing to add to my plate, so to speak. As some of you know, my friend is on her last few days here on earth. It is very hard for me. I have known her 18 years. I went to see her yesterday. She is out of it and had restraints on. Then I find out my brother was taken to the hospital yesterday. He seems to have a staph infection and may need surgery for a major cyst soon. Then they took my neice to the hospital! She is due to have her baby sometime today, we hope. She was induced at 3 am this morning. She is 39 weeks today, her due date wasn't until Sept. 3rd. Can you say overload? Add this all to my already overloaded mind with financial and everyday stress. And some setbacks that I have encountered with surgery. I'm sorry for venting. I hope everybody has a great weekend. I will keep Monica in my prayers for her surgery. And I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers as well.

Michelle, I am so sorry to hear you are having everything but the kitchen sink thrown at you.  We all know the old adage, what doesn't kill us, just makes us stronger..but, sometimes, enough is enough!  You've got a great support group of OH peeps down there so don't hesitate to call on them when you get overwhelmed.
