TGIF California What's up for the Weekend.

Good morning Rhonda and the rest of California,

Today brings a medical procedure at 10:30.  Not looking forward to this one, but I gotta do what I gotta do.  I think if I feel up to it after, I'll have Mikey take me to lunch.  I haven't been allowed to eat for two days and I'm just a tad bit hungry.  OK, I'm a ravenous animal at the moment.  I think mostly I want my coffee.

The weekend doesn't bring much.  Probably some cleaning and laundry tomorrow.  Maybe a movie Saturday night and then Sunday over to my sister's house for the day.  Nothing special, just a quiet day of pool and BBQing.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Don't get overheated and drink plenty of water.  This heat can catch up with you very quickly and remember, do something wonderful for yourself.

It has been very hot, but for me...I love it!!!  I am always so cold, I know love the heat!!

Today I have my appointment this morning to see the plastic surgeon...I sure hope it goes well.  Then, I am not coming back to work..I am going to pickup my husband early from work so we don't hit traffic and also we both have worked some very long days this week...

Not much for the weekend...cleaning and then on Sunday were going to Disneyland...the happiest place on earth!!!

Just a quick good morning...I need to get back to work, since I have to leave by 9:00 this morning to get to Pasadena for my appointment.

Also, I will keep Janet (Jandell) and Monica P in my thoughts and prayers today while they both are having plastic surgery...

Good Morning Miss Rhonda and everyone,

Good to see your smiling face Rhonda.  It seems like 5 million years since I have last spoken to you.  I haven't spoken to anyone in so long.  I did get to talk to Naomi, I gave her a little pep talk about knee replacement.

This weekend brings me to the Long Beach coffee.  Everyone is concerned about me going out, but I am dying here in this room. (yes Jean I am planning on lunch) Of course I had NO clue it was even hot outside till I hit the door yesterday to go to the docs.  Which was another ordeal.  That doctors office is the most inefficient I have ever seen.  How do you change someones appt and NOT call them and tell them.  Do they think I have ESP?  I would not leave the office until ANYONE saw me and took out those damn staples.  Yes, they are out, 30 of them, it was Doug's job to count.  Now I can get back there and rub my hands over the scar if it itches....and let me tell you, that is all the time!!!

My pain meds wore off this morning, here I thought it wasn't a bad surgery with little or no pain.  HOLY CRAP, my tailbone hurt so bad I was in tears.  So I won't be sleeping that long without meds again.  It hurt, but I am A OK now!

It is so nice to see so many new and friendly faces around these days, and even nicer to see some old ones we haven't seen for awhile.  I can't wait to hear the Monica P is out of surgery.  I cannot wait till I leave mine at the hospital when I get it done.  The after that one will be the boob and arms, and maybe I can wear a short sleeve shirt out.  Imagine that?

OK kids, have a wonderful day.  It is here, Friday, now let the fun begin!

Good Morning Rhonda and the wonderful Cali Crew!!

ITS FRIDAY!!!!  YIPPPEEE!!!!  I need the weekend.  I am almost over this stupid cold thank goodnees.  I still have a bad cough and now I have no voice left but I think I will live.  It has been a rough week.  It top it off, last night, I was running some errand and stopped off at Target and when I got back in my car to start it, it wouldn't start.  I think it is out of gas because the gauge doesn't work.  So I had to walk to work today (it's only a 10 min walk).  I need to get a gas can now and get some gas in my car after work.  I would have done it yesterday but I was flat broke.  I think I had 20 cents in my pocket.  Thank God it was a short walk from Target to home.  I am hopping that it is just out of gas and not something worse.  Just say a prayer for me and my car today.

Nothing planned really this weekend.  I have Angel Food tomorrow and then church on Sunday.  I hope everyone has a great weekend.  Stay cool and drink your water.

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali Friends,

Rhonda, the interviews went very well.  I am called back for a 2nd interview at the hospital with their CEO, CFO and Administrator next Wed. for the Benefits Manager position.  The AAA interview went well too, I am still waiting to hear back from them. 

Today we have our "train the trainer" workshop for EU it's the last one we have!  Then Ron and I can facilitate their workshops.  Errands to run after that and dinner out tonight.

This weekend, I will need to go shopping for another "interview outfit".  I can't very well show up to the 2nd interview wearing the same thing I had on for the 1st, so I'll have to go shopping.  Oh darn :-)

Other than that, not too much planned.  Some house cleaning is probably in order.

for me this weekend will be shopping for a high school reunion dress! God I cant believe ive been out of high school for 10 years!! makes me feel pretty old! lol

I will be in LB for a craft sale so I will try to come out to LB Coffee.  It will be wonderful to see the "Delightful Diane" and the LB Coffee Crew. 
Sunday , I really don't have any plans.  I might go car shopping or get my nails done.

Good morning all,

Well this weekend just has me preparing for surgery on Monday. They have to go in and try to repair some damage to my lower intestine from that bloclage I had back in May. They think think it can be done on an out patient basis so hopefully I will be back home Monday evening. And if that isnt enough, I have been scheduled for Friday to have the big chunk of skin cancer removed from my face LOL..........Im feeling a little picked on at the moment.

Everyone try to stay cool and please keep hydrated with this heat. As Bariatric patients, we are prone to dehydration if we dont concentrate on the water intake during normal cir****tances let alone a heat wave. Keep tha****er bottle handy
