TGIF California What's up for the Weekend.

Yippeeee...it's Friday, Friday Friday!  I'm all packed up and ready to roll outta here at 3:30.  Had a great WOW moment last nite: while packing last nite, tried on a pair of jeans..SIZE 12!  I'm wearing them today!!    I'm not entirely out of 14's just yet...but I'm a knocking at the #12 door!

Rick...good luck Monday on your surgery; Barb, knock em dead on that 2nd interview GF; Michelle, hang in there, time will heal the loss; the LB coffee group...ENJOY Diane! and to everyone else I missed?  Know I love you and wish you only the best! 
Have a great weekend and try to  stay cool....seems Southern Cali is getting a bit more heat than us up here...at least we are staying under 100 this weekend ^_^

Rhonda - I am impressed with your marsh restoration work. It's a great way to not only get exercise, but you're doing something many generations to come will appreciate!

Rick - Good luck with surgery on Monday. I hope you get to go home on Monday too.

Michelle - I am sorry to hear so many things are being thrown at you at once. I was in this mode for a couple of years and all I could do was live in the moment and not thing too hard about the impact of it all. Good luck!!!!

Michele - Have fun at Disneyland. I am kind of itching for D-Land vacation too.

Stephanie - I hope your medical procedure went OK today.  Looking at the time I think you're at the doctors right now.

I am very pleased it's Friday. I don't have set plans. If I am feeling up to it, I might go to a fundraiser for our local high school's sports and music programs. I am an alumni also. I'd like to be skinny before I see former classmates, but screw that attitude. I am a good person regardless of my weight.  I will most likely be helping my mom out who's chemo treatment earlier this week will be hitting her physically. Lots of shopping and watering her yard. I am hoping a couple of workouts in the pool will be happening too.

Wow everyone has so much going on!  I am going to steal a line from Barb (I hope you don't mind) "Good thoughts and prayers" go out to everyone of you.  We are going to Red Robin tonight.  (I don't have surgery until 9-9)  It is our friends anniversary.  Then nothing else planned for the rest of the weekend.  I am still getting my house in order befoe my surgery.  I cleaned out my spices cabinet yesterday.  My husband has not looked into the cabinet yet.  He says he hates it when I get in a throw away mood.  Most of them were pretty old.  I had some that were probably 25 years old!  I really would rather be a Disneyland!  (Hope the weather is good for your there!)  I have always wanted to go at Christmas.  One of these days we will.  I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning Rhonda and Cali Crew. Happy TGIF!! Today I need to call the party coordinator at Tom's Farms and get bthe ball rolling for our big event. I am so excited to be heading up this adventure. The rest of the day will be spent doing laundry and and getting ready for my weekend in Vegas. The Somebody Loves You Crusade is going to be such a blessing. I can't wait to get there. We leave at 7am tomorrow morning and won't bew bac****il about 3am on monday. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Remember to sip, sip, sip...it gonna be HOT this weekend. Sending hugs to all. I hope you all have a great weekend! We will be cleaning out our garage this weekend. I hope anyway but it is so HOT! Regardless although I love my ODS I will be enjoying the peace having a child at weekend camp brings!

It's Friday of the first week of school, and, it's been great, but, I am also tired.... but, this weekend is not going to be a very "resty" one... tomorrow early (to beat the heat) the painters are coming over to paint the new bathroom and a few other places around the house that need work... then, Sunday is for my mom and dad.

Tuesday will be a funeral for my elderly neighbor, dale, in the afternoon (I'll be leaving early that day).

Praying for Monica, and thinking that her surgery is nearly complete, or possibly finished. What a huge undertaking to have a lower body lift.... I have trouble conceiving of the whole procedure, actually! But, kudos to her for the courage to tackle it!

Good Afternoon Cali Friends,

Thank goodness it's FRIDAY!! Wooohooo!! I am so freakin tired! Ugh...! It has been a long week with working full time & taking classes, but I am happy to report, I am so much closer to my degree than I thought. WOW! It's as if I can see it and all I have to do is continue reaching. I just need to stay positive & remember my what my goal is. I have a super busy weekend planned. Tonight, I am having dinner with family. Tomorrow is the LB Coffee and I am so excited to see everyone. Then Sat night, I am meeting friends in Manhattan Beach for dinner. Yummmy!! I can't wait. Sun, will probably be laundry & homework. I do hope, I will be able to get some rest & me time during this weekend. It seems that my last couple weekends have been crammed with plans. Oh, well. I shouldn't be complaining. I hope everyone has a great weekend & can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!
