Today I am thankful for...

1.  The girl who was kidnapped 18 years ago who is now safe in Concord.  God please bless her and her children and parents with peace and happiness.

2.  My family and friends who make me laugh and keep me going.

3.  For another week that was a success.

It is Friday...and in less than 8 hours I am heading to the foothills for fun and laughter with great friends

Jaycee Dugard's safe return to her family...we need to all pray for her as she and her daughters try to form a 'normal ' life

my entire life being 'boreing' compared to the drama and crisis that others have had to endure...I have been sooo blessed!

I have to agree that I am thankful for my boreing life as well.  Sometimes I get so upset over silly things.  Like my insurance company and doctor's office. I was reading in people magazine about people who are rebuilding in New Orleans yesterday, and hearing about the kidnapped girl.

Which leads me to the next thing I am thankful for the Good Lord has given me so many blessings.  He really has looked after me very well. He has been so good to me.

He has given me a wonderfull family.  My husband, my sons, my daugher-in-law, my grandkids, my friends, and of course my dogs!  I am truly blessed!

Today I am thankful for;

1. Friday and having no set in concrete plans this weekend
2. Last night's WLS support group meeting that provided great information and a chance to get support from people who are futher along in this process than I am
3. Having the opportunity to spend time with my husband this weekend

I am thankful to have made it through another week, thankful that today is payday, thankful that I will see my friend Shari tomorrow and thankful to be able to do some shoe shopping on the way there! I am thankful for my friend Colleen who has been such a breath of fresh air in my life!!! I am also so very thankful for my friend Julie who not only listens and is sympathethic to my junk, but also happily walks the streets of San Francisco with me every day on break! I'm thankful for cool cantaloupe juice that will be sipped this afternoon.  I am thankful for the hot humid weather! mmmmm its sooo warm and wonderful!!!

That is a WONDERFUL quote!!  I try and smile to everyone I see, most of the time, especially if I am in a bad mood.  Somehow that makes everything seem a little better and in a brighter better perspective.

I am thankful I got so much insight from my doctors appointment yesterday.  The surgeon and the nutrtionist gave me priceless information.

I am thankful my hubby went with me to the appointment and somehow his attitude has changed a little bit

I am thankful for my sons, without them I would not be the strong woman I am now.

Barb you are truely amazing!  I love that quote and I loved Mother Teresa.  It was sad when she passed as women like that don't come around very often, those who truely give their hearts and their lives God without any questions.

Today I am thankful for.

1.   That I had a fantastic day yesterday at work.  It was such a blessing to be able to do what I love.

2.  My husband who stays strong when I can't be.

3.  A week of such adventure and love.
