Today I am thankful for....

1.  My 2nd interview this week, may it bring an employment offer.

2.  My successful walk around the Lafayette Resevoir yesterday.

3.  My home, my family and friends who make it such a wonderful place to be.

Today I'm thankful for family and friends who care enough to be my soft place to land right now.

Wow! How did you know Leo Buscaglia is my favorite person? I have read nearly all of his books. when I was going for my degree in psychotherapy! Although I didn't end up getting my degree in that field, he did uplift me and taught me lessons, that I still use today. He is much like me, a huge hugger! I love it!!  Congrats on your walk yesterday! I can hardly wait for the day that I can do such a difficult walk.

Today I am thankful:

that my family and friends that are safe from the fires that are ravaging the area.

that my family seems to be recovering from the medical setbacks they have recently had.

that even with some setbacks, I am thankful for the tool that I was given a month ago today.

for my OH friends as they continue to support me as I continue this journey, in my weight loss. And they care about my whole person, not just one aspect of me.

Today I am thankful for:

1. that at 5:34 this morning, work called and told me I got my request to stay home today, at least till 3pm.

2. getting a phone call from a friend I haven't talked to in a while. She was worried about me, how sweet is that.

3. in 32 days I go to Scotland, and meet up with the family. Can't wait.

4. this great morning, with the nice cool breeze coming in the windows.

Today I am thankful for

1.  My new refrigerator.  I love that piece of metal.

2.  That the fire behind my house last night was knocked down quickly and we never had to leave.

3.  That so far the fires up by my sister seem to be moving away from her house.

4.  That my doctor could get me in to see her today about this horrible sore throat I have and I can get it taken care of before I go on vacation

5.  That I'm getting to go on vacation back East next week and I'll get to see my cousin that I haven't seen for 8 years.

I am thankful for all the firefighters everywhere, who have chosen their profession and always give more than 100%.

My sister who came and say me yesterday and brought stuff and gave me a pedicure.

Doug, who works 7-24, to care of me, care for our home. I am so blessed.

All my friends......nothing more to day on how wonderful they are.

Seems like a slow day on the boards today; no complaining here! Gives me a chance to catch up on everybody from over the weekend LOL

Today I am Thankful for:

Another beautiful day in the neighborhood ;-)  The breeze is blowing, temps in mid 80's..a perfect short-sleeve weather kind of day

My wonderful, fabulous, loving husband....his support for me is sometimes embarrassing (he's my loudest cheerleader!) but I'd be lost without it

and especially for this past weekend...camping with friends in the beautiful foothills. 

Oh, 1 more thing!  Getting home before the horrible fire raged thru Auburn!  So sad to hear of the homes and business lost but Thankful no one was hurt!
