Back to School for Me!
Thank you! The RN programs are so tough to get into right now, so I'm going to get my LVN first, then do the LVN to RN bridge program. The schools around me have a year and a half waiting list at least. That's a long time and I need to do something soon here.
Why would you be going to finish in Washington?

We have a great opportunity to move to Washington and I think we're going to do it. My hubby's family is there and many friends. It would delay my schooling for about a year. We're still figuring it all out right now. I've been accepted to Santa Ana, but I'm on the waiting list. I've applied to Golden West and I was supposed to apply to Cypress this week, but now things are up in the air.
Washington requires you work as a CNA for one year prior to applying to RN school. They also require Statistics as a prerequisite.
LVN to RN is a good way to go. Then you'll only have one year of RN school in front of you.
I'm sure you'll do great!

Congratulations! I am so happy that you returned to school. I am currently working on my degree and I know how hard it is. The J/C College's are very crowded these days! Because of all the budget cuts, the classes offered are limited & spaces are filled up quickly. I want to wish you the best of luck!
