Today I am thankful for...

1.  My 2nd interview today at 3pm.  I am prepared, confident and hopeful.

2.  My friend who had back surgery and is recovering nicely.

3.  My family and friends who keep inspiring me to higher heights.

I am thankful for...

my hairstylist/friend who washed and blowdried my hair yesterday. Such a HUGE treat!

my nurse/friend who came over and help changed the very delicate bandages on my hoochie

my friends who took me into their home, a hunched over, grumpy stinky girl who can't stand upright....they've been taking me to the doctor and helping empty my drains. I'm a lucky girl!

oh, and the fabulous Dr. Kent who is going to remove two of my four drains today.

Hi Barb,

I've been so busy the last couple of days, I haven't posted what I am thankful for. Today I am thankful for:

1. Not feeling as lousy today due to low iron
2. I fit into a dress today I haven't worn in 4 years.
3. I didn't gain weight considering I haven't exercised in almost 2 weeks and have felt lousy the past couple of weeks.

That's it.

Good Morning you fine Cali people!!

Today I am thankful for:

Getting on the scale at my doctors office yesterday and realizing I lost 6 pounds from last Monday, August 24th.

Also Thankful for the good pain killers the Doc gave me... I hurt my back really bad.  I finally got a good nights sleep but now feeling knda of groggy and fatigued.  But I am happy I am up and moving around today.

I am always thankful for my sons and hubby... they are blessings!

And lastyly, I am truly thankful for my husband who has decided to REALLY support me on this whole journey.  He told me over the weekend that he and the boys will start and do the low cal diet with me, all together, as a family.  Isnt that wonderful???  He is a blessing!

Sheesh Barb....did ya HAVE to pick this quote today? Man...you are not a fun person!  I know, what the heck am I talking about? LOL  'right mental attitude'...sheesh....sure not what I have today :-(  But having to think what I'm thankful for today can only pick my spirits up...start to turn the old mind-set around ;-)  So..THANK YOU!

Today I am thankful for:

1 BARB---who has ESP, which is kinda scary! LOL  Your daily attendance to this thread always makes me sit up and take notice of those around me who have blessed my life...and you certainly fall into that catagory ^_^

2. My husband..who daily compliments me and encourages me to have a good day as I leave for work.

3.  My job....yesterday was my 18th year anniversay with this  company.  And a Boss who is thoughtful enough, even when he is out of town, to send me a text message THANKING me for the job I do!

Well, Barb...you have done it again...the smile is back on my face...Thank YOU for your deligence in keeping this thread going...it does have so many benefits ^_^

Today I am thankful for...

I am still feeling better.

That my surgery is still on for 9-9, the doctor's office finally followed through with the authorization.

That I woke up this  morning.  (That is great considering the alternative!)

For my poodle Teaka, who loves her mommy very much!

Aw, that's what I felt as I was sitting in the parking lot.  This wonderful peaceful feeling and support just overcame me!  Thanks so much for the prayers.
