Honeymoon is over!!!
Help.... I am falling and I can't get up! I am having a hard time getting going, for the past 2 months, I havent lost an oz. I know that I am not making some of the right choices and would like to start over. Is there anything I can do to start again. Should I go on all liquids for a while? I have lost 93 lbs in 6 mos. (RNY on 12-18-08)and 0 in last 2 mos. I am down and don't know where to start to get up again. I'm afraid that I will continue down this destructive path and either not lose anymore wt or worse, gain it back. Thank you for any input.
Hi Donna, there is a way to get back on track and make better choices. You can do the 5-Day Pouch test. It takes you back to the basics. Here is the link for it: http://www.5daypouchtest.com/plan/theplan.html
Good luck hun!

Donna:
The best thing I could say is get back to basics from the beginning. Katt's suggestion of the five day pouch test is a great idea. Remember when you first started and always get your protein in first. Make sure you're taking 10 minutes between each bite (or two). Go back to no drinking for 30 minutes before or after you eat and then when you can drink, make sure you're getting your water in.
Move your body if you haven't been exercising. I find it really helps me keep my eating on track.
Report to us here on MsShell's WDYET (what did you eat today) It helps a lot to be accountable to each other.
I track my food on My Daily Plate at Livestrong.com. It really helps me to see the breakdown of what I'm eating.
And by all means, don't deprive yourself. I love my snacks/desserts and I cook food I enjoy every single day. I get a lot of my ideas from Eggface's site. Great recipes and fun food for WLS people.
KEEP POSTING HERE too. This is a great bunch of people, who are happy to help you in this journey. Everyone struggles, so don't beat yourself up. Just pick yourself up and move forward each day.
