Good Morning all,

Gus, it's Friday...everyone WAKE UP, it's Friday!!!  The day is finally here, Miss Rhonda,  doesn't have to countdown any longer,Barb will be here today.  I hope that Becky made it safe to your house Rhonda. Once again I am sitting in my "tent" so the screen light doesn't wake up Dougie!

So everyone what are your plans for the weekend, maybe something fun?????

Barb....she is reporting a 57.5 lb loss for the week.  Way to go everyone.  How about we work to break that next week?  Also Barb, you and Ron drive careful.  Can't wait to meet you. 

Delores....So happy your husband is going to be going for a 2nd interview.  Everyone keep him in our prayers and thoughts, and Delores keep up posted.

Katt...she has secured us a date for Tom's Farms.  It is a great place to go and meet everyone.  The clothing exchange is great, so start to clean out those closets now. 

Naomi...Your room awaits you.  Can't wait for tomorrow.

Execsue...Let's keep her in our prayers and thoughts, she had shoulder surgery yesterday, we hope you are home and doing ok.  I hope if someone knows her personally, they can post for her so we know that she is doing good.

Bebaugh....Hoping you are doing good, and the recovery is easy for you and there are NO complications.  So happy that you are on the losing side with us now.

Rick...glad that you are taking the opportunity that you were chosen for.  I think that it will be a welcome addition and that you will be able to help so many people.  

Lu....So happy for you on your Promotion!!  Nice to get paid for all your hard work and efforts, and just being recognized makes you feel great, plus now they will pay you for it all!!!!  Good going kiddo.

Jeaneene...How is the move coming along?  I can't even think about having to do that, it makes me tired just at the thought.  So many years and it's always unbelievable what we can accumulate.

Jean L....I hope that the estate sale is going good, and that you enjoy your flea market this weekend.  You will be missed, you always make me laugh...and so do so many others.

Kim....what the hell were you thinking getting "threaded".  It just sends shivers down my spine.  I hope that your face now stays baby butt soft.

Sue B....She has announced the High Desert dinner bell....but this time it will be a Sunday Brunch.  Sounds so dang good.  Is it time yet?  You always do such a good job putting it all together.

Michelle and Little Michelle....see you both tomorrow.  This is going to be a fun weekend for all.  I cannot wait.

MsBlues....I am so happy for your WOW moment.  That is a great accomplishment being out for a weekend, and then realizing that life isn't about food any longer.  Congrats 

Joy....I sincerely hope that something changes for you.  That is alot of money for anyone to lose a month.  Let's all keep her in our prayers and thoughts that things get better.

Lynn N.....haven't seen you for a long time, good grief, you look great.  You have worked that tool to death, and it shows.  Way to go.

Wildewoman and Momgreen...Welcome to the boards.  If there is anything that we can do to make this journey easier for you, please post away.  It's all about support and help.  Momgreen, good luck on your surgery...it will be here and over with before you know it!!

Steph....I know that your vacation is winding down back there in Boston.   I hope that you had a wonderful time, which when you posted it sounds like you are....but back to reality, so snap out of it!

HHippo482....Good Luck with your upcoming surgery too.  We welcome you to the losers bench with open arms, and know that we are all here to help you on this ride.  So let me tell you, buckle up and hang on, it's a wild one!

I hope I haven't missed too many, but I will do better next time.  As for me I see the doc today, they are going to exam the scar or open wound again.  Poor Dougie is feeling bad every nite having to care for it.  Starting Sunday tho for 7 days I will have a home health care nurse caring for it, so it will give him a break.

Good Morning Diane and Cali Guys and Gals!

I am so glad it is Friday!  I get to paly and I think I get the afternoon off after I take a group of like 30 plus on a 4 hour Hike.  Our environmental fair went well last night.  Lots of people showed up and and I got to talk to some peole that have been on some of my hikes and adventures and it was awesome!  I got to hold a snake and everything. (I hate snakes).  WEll that is about it for now.  OOPS I almost forgot!  Barb is coming today!  LOL.  I so can't wait for her to come.  My hous is a mess as that is what happens when Dad's try to be mom's for a while, it takes them a while to get their groove.  Personally as much as I love my husband I don't think he wants to get a groove!  lol.  He prefers outdoor play!  WEll enough of that the coffee is ready and I got this huge pile of paperwork calling my name.  Have a great day and prepare for Barb time!

Good Morning Diane and Cali!!

Its finally Friday!!  For being a short week, it sure seemed long.  I am ready to go home already though.  I woke up this morning with a tooth ache.  It really hurts.  This tooth flares up every few months.  I had a root canal and then a crown on this tooth and for some reason, it will hurt for a couple of days and then not bother me.  I started taking some antibiotics though and some pain reliever this morning.  I just have to tough it out 6 1/2 more hours and I can go home and start my weekend. 

I am excited about going to Rhonda's tomorrow.  It is nice just to get out once in a while.  I don't know what to bring though.  I will figure it out today.

Good morning Diane and Cali,

This weekend will be a blurr I am sure.  So much to do before I leave on Monday to Florida.  I am flying back on Friday to So Cal for a wedding.  DH and Ms. V will drive down on Thursday so they can pick me up at the airport on Friday. 

I want to thank you all for your prayers.  We really need them.  Hopefully it will not be a problem next week when I am gone for DH to get away for the interview.  Ms. V can go to daycare again.  She misses it, but it is not in the budget right now. 

Everyone have a great weekend (I know all you party people will at Rhonda's house).

Good Morning Tia D and all of California,

Me and my one remaining drain are here, doing the best we can. This last drain is driving me crazy. My surgeon said I could shower as long as I keep the drain dry....its too hard to figure out. I wasted so much surgical tape and plastic bags, I just gave up. I keep taking my sponge baths.

The recovery from plastics is SO DIFFERENT from recovering from WLS...so much harder, at least for me anyways.

I've been up since 4am, I can't sleep comfortably...so I guess I'll be napping sometime later this morning....and that is all I have planned for today. I won't be a Negative Nelly though, my incision line is beautiful and already beginning to fade in some parts. I can't wait until I can live without a binder on and the swelling goes away. Dr. Kent did a remarkable job on me!

Drink water, be good to yourself in this heat....I know I've been having a really hard time getting all my water and protein.

I can't wait to see you since you had your surgery.  I keep you in my thoughts and prayers that you will recover quickly.  Your not being a Negative Nelly so do not give that another thought.  Protien should be your main focus right now as it helps you to heal.  Do you know when the last drain comes out?  I am hoping soon so you can enjoy a nice hot shower.  I am sure that will make you feel normal again.  (always worked for me)  You take care of yourself and  I wish you were coming up, maybe next time.

Diane what an awesome shout out.  OK, we're gonna call you the official shout out queen now!!!

I can't wait to see everyone tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Did someobe sat Party weekend?  I couldn't talk Ron into brining his guitar but if someone has one and wants to join him, I'm sure he'd play.  I think he didn't toughen the pads on his fingers so that's probably why he is reluctant.  You know how finicky musicians are.  So if you play guitar and happen to have an extra please bring it and ya'll can play.  I'm game for a song or two and I know once we get Missy Rhonda with enough wine in her, she'll sing like a bird!

OMG, wait until you see how many tomatoes are coming down with me!  Ron picked the two cherry tomato plants clean I'm sure.  There are lots of red sweet 100's and yellow pear tomatos we call light bulbs.  So we have enough healthy snacks to feed the town of Hesperia!  LOL

I gotta go pack and get the heck outta dodge.  We're on our way pretty soon.

I am on my way to Santa Cruz this afternoon to play in a VollyBall tournament.  Should be fun! 

Last night the old man and I painted 1/2 of the floor in our back room.  I had yanked the nasty carpet out, pulled up tack strips and scraped the concrete.  he patched a crack or two and then we used the garage floor paint and sprinkled speckles over it.  OMG it turned out fantastic!  I really like it.  Next week after it cures and dries we will move furniture over and do the other 1/2 of the room.

I'm only working 1/2 a day here then off to get my claws sharpened (nails done) and a trip to physical therapy and then home to rest and we take off around 4.  We should have fun - but not as much as the crowd down there in Hesperia!  OMG - I'm missing out again! Looks like I am going to have to schedule another trip down!   (ps......it's in the works!)

You are always here.  When you were here last time you left part of your heart here and you took a part of all of ours.  So I will always be there with you as you are always here with us.  We made you an honorary Flamingo.  You will see the pictures soon.  You have been everywhere with us.  YOu went to dinner last night (you got really drunk and embarrased us to death)  You went to starbucks and passed out on the table.  (I thought I was going to die).  YOu let 1/2 of your air out (thank God it was not as stinky as the gas I was passing last night! )  YOu had a great time.  You started drinking early though.  YOu got up in Nylas high chair with your wine and nuts and some protein shake and next thing you know you are doing high dives off the water fall.  We tried to contain you and nothing we could do worked.  But when we got home from Starbucks you passed out somewhere, I have not been able to find you yet this morning, but I will look harder once everyone else gets up and joins me.  But I know you and you will party till the cows come home for sure again today.  I love you my friend and I miss you so much.  I showed everyone our white water rafting pictures and they just loved them!  I hope you win your tournament today.  I am with you right there, just think hard and close your eyes and you will feel my hugs coming your way.

I must agree with Barb, Diane, you did an awsome shout out today! Wow! I am so looking forward to seeing you, too! Good luck at the doctor's today. I think you kinda like your little "tent" thingy. Lol. 
Barb, please you and Ron be careful on your way down. I will say a special safekeeping prayer for the two of you.
Today, I will probably go over and help Rhonda and Becky. Tomorrow morning, I am off to my DH's company picnic, it runs from 10-2pm, but he has to work at 1 so we are leaving at 12. And then I am off to Miss Rhonda's again to join in on all the fun!
