Absolutely the best weekend ever

Awww...you are so sweet, GF.  We can catch up next weekend...Lon is teaching class  so I can hang out for a little while after the No Cali Luncheon if you're free!??

As I have said before, it was so wonderful meeting you! I really enjoyed our conversations that we shared. Ron is the sweetest man. I heard he plays a mean guitar, but of course I missed that. And now I hear I missed talking to Nancy, too!!! Geez!
I am so glad that you enjoyed your weekend. I am glad that you got a chance to meet Howard. After breakfast yesterday, we were talking and he kept telling me what a great couple the two of you are. I am sure he and Ron would have kept going on about sports and football if we had let them, lol..
I for one hope that a north-south meeting isn't too far off! That would be so great!

Good Morning Barb,

I am glad that you and Ron got home safely.  I have to tell you, I was so excited about you coming down, and then it was here and gone already.  How sad it went so fast, but those memories we now have will last a life time, or until Alzheimers sets in, which ever comes first.  It was such a pleasure meeting you both.  As I told you, just from your picture I knew I would love you both, and I wasn't wrong.  Ron is great, he reminds me so much of Doug, whom by the way complained how bad his arm hurt from horseshoes. 

I hope that we can get something together, maybe after the Holidays and just meet somewhere in the middle so we can meet everyone from up there.  Thank you for taking the time to come down here and meet the nuts of the south.

I know, time passed so quickly darn it!  I know our friendship will last a life time!  I think all of us had so much fun, and I can't wait to do it again or better yet, have you guys to our house for some Nor Cal fun and games!!!

I had to laugh that you mentioned that Doug's arm is sore, Ron was complianing about his shoulder!  LOL  I just read your post to Ron and a big smile came upon his face.  I sure think there was some male bonding going on with the horseshoes!

Can't wait to see everyone again REAL SOON!

Hi again! 

I would love to make a trip up to San Francisco.  It's been years...I mean years since I was last up there.  I am having knee replacement surgery on October 26, so I'm not sure when a trip like that will be possible for me.  Not to mention my employer expects me to be here when I'm well...really!  But if I'm convalescing well...maybe a trip while I'm off???

But... if you are coming down to visit the House of the Mouse (D-land), maybe we can do a big reunion at Mickey's place?  That would be fun.
