Oh My Goodness.... in just about 2 hours I will be having my Psych Evail.  I am so nervous, I cant even explain in words.  This is the woman that holds the last thing for me to get my surgery.  Not to mention when I made the appointment with her, her accent was so thick I had to keep asking her to repeat what she was saying, only cause I was only getting bits and pieces of what she was actually saying.

Everyone wish meluck plz... I would appreciate the good thoughts!

You will do just fine and there is no reason to be nervous........Good luck and just remember this is just one more step out of the way towards the beginning of your new life

Have a great day........Rick

Good luck.
I had my eval this past Saturday, it was interesting, she asked a lot of questions about my past and had me spell world backwards and subract 7 from 100 then keep subracting 7 from that number until she said to stop, and gave me 3 words to remember then I had to repeat them back to her after I did the whole counting down from 100 by 7 thing.

Well,  the appointment went really well.  She said I wasnt crazy LOL and that I am fit for surgery with no issues at all.  She said I was fully aware of all the issues that could arise and that I have handled all my past emotional, physical, and childhood stuff really well.  She also told me to look into seeing if my anti-depressant that I take can be put into liquid form before surgery so I am not discontinuing that medication.

Soooooo... all in all it went REALLY well !

Now all I have to do is get a chest X-ray and then submit all my paperwork and stuff to the insurance chica at the surgeon and wait for the OK from the insurance company (Anthem Blue Cross).  She said it would most likely be 2 weeks to a month to get the insurance company to OK the surgery.  WOOOT WOOOT!!!! the process has run sooooo smoothly, I am amazed! (KNOCK ON WOOD NOTHING COMES UP NOW!)

Congrats Jenn on a successful psych review!  I love it that the psych never says we are 'normal', just not 'crazy' LOL Hope your waiting period isn't that long...I know I sat on pins and needles waiting for the 'ok'.  Good Luck!

Thank you all for your kind words... I appreciate it sooooo much!  Sometimes this whole process is so overwhelming and my family doesnt understand what I am trying to achieve here.  I know if I really need a question answered or a boost of support, I can come here and get it.  Every once and a while we all need a pat on the back and hear :you are doing a great job" Ya Know??

Again Thanx !

Sunray and Keli we should start a Sacramento group or something, I know I hate driving on freeways and Concord just seems soo dang far away! LOL

Who knows....
