Got my Revision Date

My surgeon's office called me today.  I am scheduled for an upper GI this coming  Monday and then the revision surgery for Oct 21.  I am really scared this time...Probably because the pain is still such a vivid memory....Sleeping in a recliner chair for  almost 5 weeks.  I just don't want to go thru this again......but I know it's not really an option for me.  I am still trying to get a 2nd opinion before going thru with it.

Although tonight when i threw up ......there were small blood clots in it. (sorry I know.....TMI)  but it has me concerned.  I guess the sooner the better. :(  thank you all for your support. 

Hopefully this will be the end of this nonsence and I will be able to start eating some food when all is said and done.

This is just great news.  I hope this will solve all of your problems and you will be pain free.  You have done enough suffering.

As for the blood clots tonight, you should call your surgeon in the morning and let them know as this could be very serious.  Better safe than sorry.

Where are you having your surgery done? And who is doing it? If it's going to be at Fountain Valley i will be there i am having my surgery that day. I hope everything turns out good for you I will say prayer for you.

I pray that this will all be over for you soon and you can put an end to it all.  I am also hoping that you will experience this like it should be.  It is not normal that you sleep in a recliner chair for 5 weeks after an RNY.  I wil hope and pray that you will notice a huge change.  I will be with you in spirit and through prayers.

blood clots?? that is not good...what is that from, do they know??

I am assuming that my ucler is bleeding again...I will be calling Dr. Chin's office today to find out.  I am having my upper GI on Monday......Don't know what that will tell him.....I think he just wants to see size of the stomach and to make sure there are no leaks.

I am sorry you are going through all this, but once this is done I pray that you will not only be able to eat food with out throwing up, but you'll be able to get on to a normal life and enjoy your RNY.
