They have changed  me  from Dr. Chin to Dr. LePort. I haven't talked to him yet they just changed to him today. So now i have to have another Drs. talk with him. What else is going to happen before this surgery gets done.  Did anyone have a ekg and blood work before surgery if so when?

You're in the same group of surgeons as I was, they are all fabulous and Dr. LePort is the most senior and experienced of them all. You're in good hands!!!

My surgery was conducted by Dr. Le port... he doesn't talk a whole lot... but when he does he's very up front ant to the point telling you exactly what you need to know... he's been doing this surgery for years I think almost 20 yrs.. very exp. but that's what you want when somebody cutting on your insides... LOL!!.. anyways I didn't need a EKG... but each patient is different... I didn't have any previous heart problems.. but I did have to have a complete blood work in which the office will call you.. prior to surgery... how it was explained to me... is that they want the blood work just a couple weeks before surgery because things in your body change overnight... but you are in good hands!! Also as you probably already know if your BMI over 50.. he will not conduct the surgery... and my require you to loss some weight prior to surgery.
I hope your surgery goes well

How funny! I was suppose to have Dr. LePort and Dr. Chin ended up as my surgeon. Afterwards, Dr. Ali checked on me. They are a super team! That was the best part! Take care of yourself and work the program!
