Anyone in the Santa Clarita area?

Just wondering if anyone is in my area that is pre or post op?

I have been active in the support groups that are given by Facey in Mission Hills. They are free to all and are on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month between 7-8 pm. Great place. I been going since January. I finish my 6 month bariatric education course next Monday then get my referrel.

Both my partner LMLavender and I are in Santa Clarita and we are both post - op.  She had her surgery on June 15 and me July 15 this year.  :o)

Sedr Khalil aslo did your surgery. I hade mine with him almost 5 years ago.!

Yes, Dr. Khalili is fantastic!  I just love him!  You look great btw!!

O M G - Lisa - You did not tell her about the LB Coffe held at the end of the month????

OK, I will,

The last saturday of the month there is a Long Beach Coffee group that meets at a local Starbucks in Long Beach.  There are all different types of people with different surgeries.  There are even people still waiting for approval or surgery date. 

This is an awsome group and LisaMDCA & LMLavender (from Santa Clarita) can tell you I am right about this.  We just get together, talk and have fun.  Anyone that has clothes that no longer fit, are welcome to bring them as there is a clothing exchange as well.  This is a wonderful opportunity to get clothes especially after surgery because you go through them so quickly. 

You should come join us on Sept. 26th.  Look for the post to be coming within the next week probably.  Jean will post a reminder as she does every month.

Yes, the LB Coffee is FANTASTIC!!!!!!  I get to bring a BUNCH of clothes to give up!
