Tremendous Thursday! Gooooood Morning!

Goodmorning all!  I hope everyone is making some wonderful plans for the weekend!  Me I am doing a 5K walk here in Hysteria Hesperia!  I am taking all my kids and we are going to have a ball.  Then I think I am going to pass out and die or something close to that, but not until I do like a million and 4 loads of laundry.  This working and keeping the house up is so hard. I am waiting for Diane to heal up and then I am going to go down there and kidnap her and lock her in my house for like a week to catch up on all my chores!  I think she is the best one as she will do it the way I like it!  The right way!.  Husbands just don't do things the way the wifes do, we have been married like 12 years and the man still can't fold a towel the right way!  But I love him anyways and he is all mine. 

So any big plans anyone for this weekend?

Do you plan on doing something to make you a better you?

Morning Rhonda and Cali . . . I'm  up . . . but still not with it!  I even slept in my recliner last night . . .just couldn't get comfy in bed . . . which meant I had a cat on my neck all night because I'm her pillow when I'm out there.

I'm still floating on the feelings of last weekend . . . the emotions, the fun, the laughter and the tears .  . . it was all unbelievable.  I'm trying to find out how to volunteer for the San Diego 3 Day in November . . . don't have to raise money to volunteer . . . if there is something my hips will allow.  I'd love to keep going with this . . . my body just isn't into it from all the years of being FAT . . . I waited to long to do something about it and now I'm paying for it.  But, such is life . . . I can do a whole lot more than I used to do!

This weekend is back to Costco for both days . . . which paychecks I dearly love (NEED).  I did find out I won't have surgery on my hands . . .if I'm a mild case, I would NOT want to know what medium to severe is like!  I'll be doing physical therapy instead . . . I can live with that.

Good Morning Rhonda and the Cali Crew!!

I am glad it is Thursday because that means tomorrow is Friday!!  I have had a bad week at work and I am looking forward to the weekend to get away from this funny farm.  I have been having problems with a young (21) coworker.  Her aunt who is only a few years older than her works here too and there is such favortisim there and it is really ******g me off.  Other people are noticing it too and emailing our boss about it.  I don't know if they will do anything about it but we'll see.  She really makes my job hard some days.  I wish this ecomony would pick up so the job market would get better and I can get a better job.

Nothing planned today but work and then go home and sleep.  I need it too because I haven't been getting good sleep.

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali Friends,

Rhonda, I know what you mean about house husbands, you know how I love my Ron but I finally put my foot down about him getting up last and making the bed!!!  He's doing it but it's like pulling teeth. I must say he is a neat nik though so that helps tremendously.

Give the kids a hug from me and have fun on the walk this weekend.

Chris so glad you're CTS is mild.  Doing workers' comp for a living, I have seen many misdiagnosis of it and lots of unecesssary surgeries, so I am glad they are being conservative for you, it is truly the way to go.

Well, collectively we lost 38.8 lbs last week!  WAY TO GO Gang!!!!

Today, Ron will go get my step mom who will spend the weekend with us and who knows what's in store for us.  Probably some retail therapy and dinner out tomorrow night (I don't cook on Friday nights, that's the rule.)  I will make a nice dinner over the weekend when my in laws can join us too.

Well, for once I am a little early for the shower.  Gotta scoot, hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali crew!

Hopefully today brings a stress free day from work (yeah right!), and some good music to my ears.  I'm off to the Nokia Theatre after work today to go see Gary Allan, I'm so excited!  Also, if anyone watched Americas Got Talent last night; my favorite performer Kevin Skinner, won the whole thing.  Anyways!  other than that, the only thing that's left for me to do this weekend is catch up on the shows on my DVR.  It's going to be a lazy weekend.

Today is the day I've been waiting for and I hope it goes well! I go back to Dr Lee and hopefully have my last drain removed and get off house arrest!

Tuesday the other drain came out and lost suction so hubby pulled the 10 inches left inside me out. Sounds gross and painful but I'm still numb so didn't feel a thing. He was following Dr orders by-the-way.

I will be so thankful to be able to once again do things around the house and even laundry (don't think that will be anytime soon though).

No weekend plans as of yet but yours sound fun!

Good morning Rhonda and California,

Let's hear it for Thursday because that can only mean that tomorrow is Friday.  YES!!  Although I do have a full weekend, at least I don't have to come to the office.  Tonight is bowling, tomorrow night is probably going to be Route 66 Rendevous, Saturday is tax class all day and dinner with my son after and Sunday was going to be the LA Fair, but I think we are going to skip that.  I have tons of laundry that I must get done so I think Sunday it will be that and relaxation. Although knowing us, something will come up and we'll wind up going somewhere.

Guess I just need to make it through this day.  This cold is kicking me in the butt as well and just makes me want to go to bed and stay there. I did have a very nice/surprising experience this morning.  I stopped at Starbucks for coffee this morning and there were about 3 cars in front of me.  I ordered my coffee and when I got up to the window, the girl tells me it's my lucky day.  The car in front of me paid for my coffee.  She told the clerk it was her birthday and she wanted to do something nice for someone.  I was so taken aback by that.  I mean I've heard of people doing that.  I've even done it myself a couple of times at toll booths, but I've never had anyone do that for me.  I wanted to find the lady in the car, but she was long gone.  So even though I don't know who she is or where she was going, I'm wishing her a happy birthday and a big thank you and I promise to do that for someone else in the near future.

Well guess it's time to get busy.  I have a 10AM doctor's appointment so I need to get some stuff done here in the office before I have to run out for that.  Everyone have a terrific day and remember to do something special just for yourself.
